Nathan Todd (born October 8th 1996) is a British Pop/R&B Singer from Newcastle, England. Todd began recording songs from his bedroom studio in the summer of 2011 with a very small view on his potential to singing performing “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars and “Hush Little Baby” by Wretch 32. Creating thousands of views and local interest Nathan started recording frequently to widen his vocal ranges and singing techniques. In October of 2011, Todd joined a British Rock band named Queen Anne’s Revenge who made a small success of performing at Gateshead College within a week and also creating a support slot at Newcastle’s O2 Academy supporting local Rock band My Extraordinary who have featured on the likes of Kerrang Magazine, Radio and TV. Todd quit the band due to different musical interests in February of 2012 after performing at the bands last gig supporting British Pop Punk band The Headstart at the Riverside Newcastle. Since then Todd has created a sensational craft for song writing, writing songs that are ready to enter a high-end studio at any time. Creating a high number of dedicated fans on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, Todd has gained thousands of views and downloads that have created him opportunities to perform at the likes of local youth festivals such as Activate, a young people’s activity day in September 2012 performing songs including a couple of his YouTube hits to hundreds of people. As well as this Todd has performed to hundreds of people at school talent shows, Christmas events and other fairs. His most recent support gig was to local Comedian Ashley Hawksworth in May of 2012 at a small local venue in Seaton Delaval. Todd’s aim is to create opportunities that he would have dreamed for to other young talented artists. Todd boasted this at his most recent Headline gig in January 2013 entitled ‘The Road Ahead’, as he gave another aspiring artist the chance to open up for him. Due to high demand and recent success, Todd will be playing at least one more confirmed Headline gig in Newcastle towards the summer of 2013 and many other small festivals and charity gigs. From October of 2011, Todd has ever since managed, produced, written and promoted any music related events and material that has been released onto his social networking channels. Todd’s current manager Lauren-Jane Alexander has been extremely influential towards his music and has also created a highly responsive view with just under 10,000 views on YouTube and over 200+ likes on his Facebook Page within 2 months of promotion. With a strong potential towards musical skills, Todd shows a great chance of breaking through into becoming a highly respected young artist that has been influenced by the likes of many singers, bands and rappers from Ed Sheeran, Labrinth, Example and The Script creating an independent yet highly unique stage act setting him apart from all other performers in the industry. Any profits generated by ticket and Music sales have all been set apart as a funding which will go towards future recordings in hope to land him a record deal. His goal for 2013 is to attract as much involvement as possible from record labels, management, Producers and other up and coming artists.
