I used to belong to a church choir that did these types of arrangements.  Precisely Dan Forrest/Beckenhorst pieces and others.  We would perform it with full orchestra in our beautiful gothic designed sanctuary.  All stone and wood, no carpet, no cushions:  acoustically amazing.  It was a thing of beauty and would give me chills and tears when we would sing. Soli deo gloria.
