It's a lot of different stars and planets and they form a dolphin shape, and you can see in the Milky Way these stars that are grouped into a dolphin shape. Shishumar is considered to be part of the universal form of Vishnu. Yogis prefer to meditate on this form,
because it is visible to the naked eye, they think of this constellation Shishumar as a dolphin,
floating in the ocean of the universe. She resembles a dolphin in the Milky Way, as if a dolphin is splashing somewhere in a river, a huge number of stars and planets are in the body of this dolphin, Shishumar.
People have a tendency to grasp the universe, understand it and develop universal consciousness. We look at the starry sky and get inspired,
high emotions are awakened, we can feel a very strong attachment to the stars. In this way, yogis meditate and have this self-understanding and self-realization that they are part of the universe.
Shishumara it is used for meditation because we can see it. Shishumara is located in the central axis of rotation of the universe.

Delta Style — Raw, Slow, 12-Bar, Spiritual-Blues Ballad

“Cunda’s Last Supper” is a raw, reverent Delta-style ballad retelling one of the most misunderstood moments in Buddhist history—the final meal offered to the Buddha by the humble blacksmith Cunda. Rooted in the spirit of the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra, the song blends ancient compassion with the gritty intimacy of American blues.

The story unfolds through Cunda’s eyes: a working man who offers his best meal to the Buddha, only to later fear that he caused the Teacher’s final illness. The blues tradition of guilt, trembling hands, and honest sorrow becomes the perfect vehicle for this tale. But the song carries the deeper revelation preserved in the sutra—that the Buddha reassured Cunda that his offering was one of the two greatest meals in history, completing the arc of enlightenment with boundless merit.

With minimal Delta blues instrumentation, warm lantern-lit imagery, and a voice soaked in humility and redemption, “Cunda’s Last Supper Blues” transforms a moment of anguish into a luminous teaching on grace. The song honors the working man’s heart, the compassion of the Eternal Buddha, and the quiet dignity of someone who fears they’ve harmed what they most love—only to be lifted by mercy beyond the world.

A blues gospel of forgiveness and awakening, this track reveals the cosmic tenderness at the center of the Nirvāṇa Sūtra: no act of sincere love is ever wasted.

I was just a poor old smith,
Hands burnt, weary, thin…
Cooked a supper for the Teacher,
Didn’t know where he had been.
When he bowed and took my offering,
Lord, my heart began to spin.

Verse 2

Later on I heard him coughing,
Saw his robe fall to the side…
A cold wind blew through Pāvā,
And the whole world turned its tide.
I said, “God forgive these hands of mine—
Was it my food that made him die?”


Chorus

Oh, I thought I broke the Holy One,
Thought I crushed a living sun…
Cried, “Lord, I didn’t mean no harm—
I was only trying to feed someone.”
But the Buddha sent word through Ānanda:
“Child, your love and shame weigh none.”

Ānanda found me trembling,
Said, “Brother, don’t you fall apart—
The Blessed One is eternal,
Can’t no sickness touch his heart.”
He said, “Cunda, your gift was sacred—
From the start, child, from the start.”

He said there’s two great meals in history:
One began the rising dawn…
Given by sweet Sujātā
On the day Enlightenment shone.
And the other one, the final one—
Brother, your hands carried it on.

A new piece written today! (7th December 2025) For flexible choir - the demo here is made with cantamus.app for SATB but it could be performed by any group that can divide into 4 parts. Ideal as a church choir introit for Advent but could work as an introit or short anthem/motet for other times of year as well.

The lyrics are from the Affirmation of Faith used at Greyfriars Kirk this morning (very slightly altered):
We believe the day is coming
when justice will flourish and peace will embrace the earth,
and all creation will sing for joy.

This singing and harmony workshop was held in September 2025 at Wallaby Creek Festival. We are breaking down the song 'Pachamama' - inspired by Beautiful Chorus.  
Throughout the session, I encourage curiosity, experimentation, and playful exploration. What I hope attendees take away is the understanding that even if they don’t know a song, they can still participate, contribute, and support it in many vocal ways—by listening, responding to the chords, singing “oohs” beneath the melody, or finding harmonies a third or fifth above.

Since 2007, he began performing as a trance DJ in Ukraine at trance parties. Since 2016, I started experimenting with small synthesizers and grooveboxes as a sound hobby, which eventually led me to sound production on a computer. I do yoga and meditation, I add the Vedic philosophy of mantras to my tracks. I love working in these genres.: atmospheric breaks, experimental bass music, eclectic electronica, psychedelic electronic, experimental hip-hop, chillvibes, ambient, indian raga. Chris Hutchings is a Scottish composer based in Edinburgh, specialising in works for choir. His works have been performed by the National Youth Choir of Scotland, New London Singers, Cappella Nova, Scottish Voices, the Edinburgh Quartet, Daniel's Beard, Pure Brass, and a wide variety of professional and amateur groups around the world. He has received commissions from several groups in the UK and USA. Recent prizes include the Murau Music Festival Composition prize in 2019, Kantos Choir's composition prize in 2021, and winning the City of Oxford Choir's  "Breaking Ground" competition in 2025.
