Since the beginning of DJ culture, Sting has been the voice of sampling-choice for many producers, and new bootleg versions of his popular songs still surface at an ever constant rate. But an official Dance Music release baring the 16-time Grammy Award winner's name is rare. Last year, however, The Scumfrog received approval to remake "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," and I´m proud to be part of this project.

Dj Xtina’s love for electronic music has spanned more than two decades, but it is only recently that she has made the decision to get back behind the booth and develop her own unique sound and style.

Her taste in music is wide spanning and often eclectic, but her signature sounds of deep house, progressive and melodic techno are what she has become known for since her public debut in April 2019.

You can expect her sets to be smooth and sultry, building up to hard, dirty bass lines with harmonic overtones and soul touching vocals, which call you on to the dance floor.

She also has a penchant for old school classics and enjoys playing a mixed genre, multi-generational set to a diverse crowd, weaving in a few surprises along the way.

Her musical journey has been steady and positive so far, playing in the private party and corporate events scene, as well as warehouse, boat and club parties on both the east and west coast of Australia and in Fiji.

She is a resident DJ for Friendz Club Australia and Shameless Joy Sound Collective, both based in Perth and in 2020 Dj Xtina was also signed on as the first Perth based artist for AUDIOANGELS, a female music agency based in Melbourne.

Her most noteworthy gigs to date are opening for Dave Seaman and Edu Imbernon at Civic Underground in Sydney for T1000 Events; supporting Serge Devant and Danni B at Cloud 9 in Fiji and an opening set at in the Solouk Chillout Tent at the inaugural Blossom Festival in Marradong, WA. Dj Xtina has also been invited to play a live mix for the Looney Choons show on RTRfm 92.1, which is streamed nationally around Australia, and livestream multiple times for ShinyPeople, an entertainment group based out of Switzerland – who she will be playing her first European gig for in Jul 2022.

Dj Xtina also has her own music agency, Red Ginger Music, after being selected as the first resident DJ for The Island at Elizabeth Quay and contracted to source and manage their DJs ongoing. She has since had multiple corporate and private clients through this new avenue, employing numerous talented local DJs, musicians and artists across different venues in Perth.
