KORDS is my pseudonym for Ambient, Cinematic, Chillstep beats.

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa & spent most of my childhood actively involved in various team sports & spending a lot of time tinkering with computers.

At the end of High School, I had no clue as to what to do. So I managed to land a job as Cabin Crew for An Airline in the Middle East. My decision was to travel the world and find some kind of purpose in doing so. 

During my downtime, I would spend most of my energy learning & creating things in the fields of photo, video, & music creation, in which I found a sense of flow. By this idea, it started to become apparent, that being creative was my purpose.

So, In 2012, I moved back to South Africa to begin as a freelance Musician collaborating with various Producers, Singers & Songwriters in a multitude of languages & genres. 

As of today I live in Belville, in the Western Cape & am very grateful I get to spend my day making music.
