STOP THE CLOCK is an immersive concert, a nature walk in the Mexican Caribbean. By way of storytelling, music, and video projection we share space to feel nature's energy, and connect with the ways in which it speaks into our lives. 
All pieces in this concert were born as musical snapshots: improvisations capturing the sound-feeling of the natural elements which had inspired me. You’ll hear a style reflective of the musical worlds which have formed me, from classical & choral to folk, jazz & electronic music.

A moment of intrigue. The moon hung pregnant, full and low in the sky. The air buzzed with a mysterious energy. It felt as though anything could happen.

A moment of energy. Submerged in forest, I traced nature's lines and they brought me to a point of energy. Earth, creek, trunk, branches, twigs, leaves; sun glistening through the canopy I breathed in its energy alongside the trees around me.

A moment of abstraction. The bougainvillea tree. Stunning, every day. Oblivious to the human world around it, whether complete joy or utter despair, these petals remained shielded by their beauty. It was as if I were co-existing with a being from another world.
