CBD Da General is a Caribbean(Guyanese)/American Recording Artist, born in Georgetown, Guyana that came to America at the age of 13. He lived in Brooklyn, NY, then Victorville, Ca. He now residing in Atlanta Georgia. 
His music takes you on an unbelievably diverse journey. It is a Rare that you find an artist that gives you their all. His topics range from "Love" to "Violence", "Struggles to Riches", "Pain to "Party", "Family Life" to "Street Life",and i can go on and on.
His style is one that I really couldn't find a comparison for. 
The best that I could come up with as a music lover is, an "Akon meets "Busta" meets "TI" Meets "Mos Def" meets "Bob Marley". Crazy, is what i said at first listen.
CBD has been showcasing his music around the United States and the Caribbean for some time and has mastered the art of fusing Caribbean Music(Reggae,Dancehall,Soca)with Hip Hop.
