The highly creative, Paris-based, Romanian electronic music composer and DJ, BOg, returns to John Digweed’s Bedrock label for his first release of 2016, and already there are sparks of electric excitement in the air!

Having been deeply passionate about music since childhood, BOg has risen to his current prominence through releases on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Alex Niggemann’s Soulfooled label, in addition Bedrock. Some of 2015’s musical highlights were BOg’s original track ‘Ava’ and his remix of the classic Bedrock track ‘Emerald’ on the ‘Re_Structured’ album, along with the dreamy 9-minutes of ‘Rakuten’ on ‘Underground Sound Of Ibiza 2’.

Now, with ‘Rewired’, BOg is raising the creative bar even higher, with 3 new musical masterpieces, showcasing his unique creative talent. The stunning, melody-rich title track perfectly showcases what the young Romanian is capable of, with its dreamy, subtle anthemic attitude. ‘The Other Side Of The River’ takes a slightly deeper melodic route, but the end result is no less enthralling. Finally, with the hypnotic, filmic ambient electronica of ‘Heartless City’, BOg highlights his ability to also create stylish excursions that go beyond the dancefloor.

With talent and releases like this, 2016 is already shaping up to be an amazing year for electronic music!

Alola mixes things up a little here with a 4 track collection from different artists. ‘Freedom’ by Memory opens the release, a languid exploration of a laidback groove with ‘Onix’ by Matik striking a much deeper, more spartan note. Ditian’s ‘Lonely Runner’ is a euphoric epic soundscapist’s dream, and rounding out the release ‘Looking Forward’ by Porra juxtaposes warm chords with a vocoded vocal, the perfect way to start a new year.

Back in May, we Debuted a track called "Just"; you might just have heard of it. @feelmybicep are no strangers to breakout belters, but even by their standards this one has been picking up a heap of plaudits. So naturally we're more than willing to help facilitate their next step toward world domination, especially given as it arrives via their own cherished namesake imprint.

This, the title track from another forthcoming collaborative release with Hammer (an artist the Belfast boys are putting serious muscle behind) is equally tense and beguiling. It hooks you in from the word go, with a nagging piano lead, ooft-y mini breakdown and shiver-inducing sirensong calling through the mist. Close your eyes and you can imagine "Dahlia" laying waste to festival stages – oh wait, that actually did actually happen at Bicep's homecoming BR. Go figure.

You can physically feel FMB005 from September 7th.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Extracted from the vast labyrinth of the internet via a series of time-coded networks and closed algorithmic pathways, Mörk presents probably the label's most distinctive release yet from the mysterious underground figure, Roza Roza. 

Radiating from the online world through a limited batch of puristic, meddling drum-programmed experiments, this three-track debut is a pure tour de force in experimental, jazz-infused, worm-hole techno and house. The undulating 808 underpins the overtly spectral sound-design canvas deployed across the EP; from the scatter-delayed percussive proto-congas on '-' to the piano melancholia employed on '--' and the erratic time-stretched mood-shift that pivots around the centre of the 11 minute jam '---'. 

A triumph in frantic, twisted techno that starts with a quantised jazz drumming instrumental and ends with an enormous euphoric vocal break. A real detachment from reality.

Sasha's label, Last Night On Earth continues to maintain it's forward thinking approach to releasing a diverse range of quality electronic music.

Finally seeing the light of day is Sasha's take on Hot Chip’s “Flutes".  Having been a firm favourite and closing track of many of his recent sets, he twists it in to his classic melodic vibe that only he does so well, taking the original into a new dimension for the clubs and festivals.

Beautiful synth work builds and breaks throughout the track, with tight drum programming keeping the track flowing and taking you on a melodic journey, as only Sasha can do.
