“Silky” is the second single to be taken from this summer’s critically acclaimed Electric Rescue album - “Sonic Architecture” (BEDER01CD). As one of the album’s superb highlight tracks, “Silky” is a perfect example of how Electric Rescue embodies French electronic music’s avant-garde sensibility, combining it with a melodic techno worldview that crosses all borders. This release also features an exciting, brand-new, not on the album, harder-edged techno production - “Non-Exchangeable” - that has also been remixed into a magnificent creative opus by Italian “enfant prodige” Dusty Kid (aka Paolo Alberto Lodde).
Electric Rescue (aka Antoine Husson) is one France’s leading electronic music producer/DJ talents. His Bedrock album - “Sonic Architecture” - is a 12 track collection that showcases his ability moving deftly between the kind of taut, melodic techno; heads-down, harder-edged dancefloor rhythms; and experimental electronica he’s brought to prominence on Gallic soil. A confident, flowing artist album, it’s the type of release that can only stem from years of experience and near constant immersion within electronic music culture. First discovered by Laurent Garnier, the roll-call of labels Electric Rescue has released music on reads like a who’s who of leading and legendary imprints, from Bedrock to Soma, F Communications to Harthouse, Sci + Tec, Cocoon, Traum, Boyznoize Records and beyond. 
As a DJ, his residency at the legendary Rex Club in Paris cemented his reputation on home turf, later gaining notoriety by organizing Paris’ infamous “Play” parties. Further afield, he’s played every major club worth referencing, including Berghain, Panorama Bar, Club Tresor, Air Club, Moog (Barcelona), The Edge, Picnik, Herr Zimmerman, Decadence, East Village Club and many more.

HARDER... DARKER... STRONGER... was the tag-line and “Disconnect/Reconnect”, the third studio album from The Japanese Popstars, garnered plenty of critical praise and won the hearts and minds of many forward-thinking music fans throughout 2013, proving to be a big success for John Digweed’s Bedrock label. So fittingly, it falls to Gary Curran and Gareth Donoghue to kick-off the 2014 release schedule with a timely revisit to three of the album’s boldest tracks, with superb heavy-duty remixes from London based Sharooz and Barcelona’s Coyu.

The mighty and melodic “Vision” and insanely noisy “Heavy Hitter” battle it out to see who can become Techno champion of the world, a duel that can only result in them both sharing the podium, being so distinctly different in attitude and being unforgettably memorable. It was the original version of “Matter Of Time” (featuring Green Velvet on vocals) that took the 2012 IMS by storm, catching the ears of Laurent Garnier, Francois K, Carl Cox and John Digweed, who promptly signed TJP to Bedrock. Now, for 2014, it reappears with a suitably massive Coyu Remix. With his Suara label currently one of the most prominent imprints in the world of Techno, Coyu’s pedigree is of the highest order and he stands as one of the most charted artists in Resident Advisor's history. Sharooz (owner of La Bombe), whose recent tracks on GND Records have been flying high, is no slouch either! His decidedly twisted remix of “Heavy Hitter” is impressive in the extreme and will no doubt be causing chaos everywhere it lands.

There can be no doubt, that this next salvo from The Japanese Popstars is destined to be heard in the dirtiest of dark rooms and at the biggest nocturnal festival shows worldwide, throughout 2014 and beyond. These boys are on fire and have their gaze fixed firmly on the future.

One of the true unsung heroes of UK techno, Miles Sagnia aka Miles Atmospheric is as much a mesmerising presence behind the DJ booth as he is in the studio. Through his richly emotive releases, he weaves seamless stories out of the deepest house to the most spacious techno. He is equally at home going deep on his own Atmospheric Existence label, or sending out uniquely soulful techno missives for labels such as Applied Rhythmic Technology, Firescope or Detroit's Aesthetic Audio. A Freerotation festival regular, Miles enjoys a dedicated following no matter whether he is delivering sets of muscular late-night techno or feel-good Sunday afternoon house. His Defining Circles EP is his debut single release on John Digweeds Bedrock imprint after featuring exclusive downtempo versions of Andromeda' and 'Orbis Alius on the recent Quattro album release mixed and compiled by John Digweed. Miless release follows other recent releases from Hannes Bieger, BOg, Madben and the label boss himself.

Andromeda kicks the EP off with hypnotic atmospheres that lay focus on resonating kicks, revolving melodies and trance-inducing modulations that fluctuate throughout before Orbis Alius offers up effervescent, progressive grooves that fuse delicately with the mesmeric soundscapes and angelic leads underneath. Sensor rounds off the pack with hard-hitting techno featuring sweeping modulations and euphoric undertones radiating an enlightening environment that are a constant feature through Miles sets and productions.

Having remixed Jozif’s “Twilight” for John Digweed’s “Live In London” opus and played at the Bedrock anniversary party where the live recording was made, Spain’s Edu Imbernon has already demonstrated a brilliant ear for pulsating house music. Now, he returns, having teamed up with fellow Spaniard Triumph, with “Veranoski” - another haunting masterclass in dancefloor dynamics.

Edu Imbernon is a great example of how a young artist can quickly make their mark on the electronic scene, his worldwide hit - “El Baile Alemán” (produced with his friend Coyu), was lauded as "Best Underground Track of the Year" by Beatport in 2009. Since then, he has continued his steady ascent up the ladder towards house music stardom, with quality remixes for the likes of The XX and Maya Jane Coles, amongst others. His productions have featured on notable labels like Get Physical, Noir Music, Trapez, Great Stuff, Diynamic, alongside his own Eklektisch label. He's also resident for Kehakuma at Space, Ibiza.

The superb remix of “Veranoski” comes from another of Spain’s finest – Henry Saiz – whose outings on Bedrock are always exceptional. Henry's critically acclaimed “Balance 019” album, released in 2011, was the catalyst for his star potential explode around the globe. His superb collaboration with Guy J (“Meridian”) and his solo track (“La Marea”) for the landmark Bedrock 100 release, were of the highest level of quality and his “Cryptozoologist EP” (BEDDIGI27) was one of 2012’s highlights. Here, his remix of “Veranoski” once again proves Henry Saiz is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinarily talented young producers around.
