The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Vietnamese producer B.A.X. back to the label for his fourth EP: "Parallel Worlds" which also includes the tracks Vortex Cloud & In A Framework.

Born in 1989 in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam, Bách (B.A.X.) was taught to play the piano when he was eight years old. Later on, he took academic piano lessons at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, graduated from the Intermediate Long-term program in 2009, and achieved a Piano Bachelor's degree in 2014. Bách has been playing the piano for more than 10 years now and this impressive sound has had a big influence on his music career ever since he started playing. He then discovered his passion for composing music and started his own project known as "B.A.X." at the age of 18. He has spent a lot of time doing research about electronic music and combined it with acoustic sounds to create his unique style. Since 2012, he has become the Co-Founder as well as a resident DJ of Heart Beat and HRBR with a passion for melodic Deep/Tech House music. For many years the color of his melodic Deep House music style has gradually become a symbol of his own. On the dance floor, he develops the music in different angles that you never know what to expect next, his selection of tracks will make everyone crawl out of their shell, as the music becomes the cocoon. He stepped into the movie score industry in 2010 and started composing many scores for several short films, and later on composed a score for feature films from 2014 like "Sweet 20" or "The Girl From Yesterday". Also in 2010 he and his partners established his own record label Feel of Life Records. In 2016, he became the Founder / Label Boss of HRBR - Harbour Saigon label in Vietnam, aiming to release original Techno/House music produced by local as well as international artists.

The latest offering from Sound Avenue finds the label presenting new interpretations of 'Turmeric Latte' by Madloch, Subnode and Pedro Capelossi. Originally released in November of 2020 as part of the trio's EP under the same name, its smoky late-night charm resonated with DJs and fans alike, making for a hugely successful first-time collaborative project from Madloch, Subnode and Pedro. Now looking to bring new life to the much-loved track, Sound Avenue invites Nhar, Darper and Erol Arda to re-imagine the production for the summer of 2022.

Also making his label debut with the second interpretation of ‘Turmeric Latte' is Darper. Based in the UK, Darper first emerged in 2017 with ‘Res', a deep, organic and delightfully musical creation that found a home on Anjunadeep's ‘In Miami' collection. Featured alongside the likes of Lane 8, Patrice Baumel, Way Out West, Yotto and more, it immediately made the Hastings resident a name to watch. Choosing his projects wisely going forward, Darper then went on to record music for Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Balance Music, Culprit, Sag & Tre and more. Now, fresh off his debut vehicle for Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas, Darper makes his Sound Avenue debut with a classy rendition of ‘Turmeric Latte'. Punchy, warm and undeniably late night; its character-rich low-end ripples and rolls with fascinating colour and contour, while a myriad of creamy keys, ghostly overlays and effervescent effects converge for a vivid canopy of sound.

Mitch Oliver debuts on Sirin Music with “Nothing Was Left“ EP. The rising producer and sound engineer has established a reputation for his personalized blend of deep emotive grooves. You can find Kindisch, Hoomidas Records, When We Dip XYZ and other labels as part of the artist’s back catalogue.

“I wrote this EP in the Spring of 2022 with the goal in mind to write music that would better fit into my DJ sets”, Mitch says. “I’ve been very inspired lately by the raw yet mesmerizing grooves found in minimal and deep tech and wanted to explore that sound a little more while still incorporating my go-to melodic touch.

The track “Can’t Help Myself” started with that simple yet very effective groove, primarily focusing on the drums and the bass and sub-bass. I then met Andrea de Tour, who has such an amazing voice and understanding of underground music. She is a great DJ and has great taste and deep knowledge of electronic music, which really helped the creative process to come up with a song that would have the sensuality of a classic house with a deeper and more profound groove. I’m extremely grateful we met and super excited about the result of our collaboration.

“Nothing Was Left” came to life when I started to jam with this mid-bass synth and came up with a very hypnotic yet catchy rhythmic melody. Some tracks come to life faster than others and this one took only a few sessions as I quickly felt the right emotions and didn’t overthink the process and simply let it all out. It has a dark and uplifting energy at the same time and has been doing very well in my DJ sets over the past few months. The voice sample gave me the extra spark I was looking for to wrap the idea, and It solidified the colour I was aiming at while composing the song”.

Taking a look back at one of our favorite releases on the Shores imprint from Emergent Music veteran Roman Prus, we pleasantly revisit the Lunar Hook EP, this time remixed by a solid variety of veterans from the roster as well.

Having been a monumental collection from the start, the 4 tracks found on the original 'Lunar Hook EP' were definitely a turning point for this increasingly talented and varietal producer, pushing a new and more deep derived sound for Roman. Now we see 4 veteran names at Emergent Music step up to the plate to give their own spin on each of these singles, the roster includes Mizar B, Skua, Will Canas and Shwin, who all delivered some stand-out remixes that take each track in a different direction than the originals, just as anyone would expect from these truly versatile and talented artists.

LA-based Tara Brooks makes her Bedrock debut with the compelling 3-track Eunoia EP. This supremely talented DJ/Producer is renowned for weaving magical melodies with deep soulful grooves, blending hints of darkness and light, all connected with a steadfast flow of uplifting positivity. Taras passion for music is contagious, and her unique sounds and loving energy are perfectly captured in her sophisticated, haunting and healing musical creations.

Conscious Dream is a deliciously enthralling opening creation. A subtle, gently pulsating groove is graced with dub-inflected layers of hypnotic melodies and laced with vocal snippets that gel effortlessly to embrace a meditative journey towards a higher state of consciousness.

Eunoia (from Ancient Greek , literally meaning beautiful thinking) expands and develops these initial themes further. Tara establishes a more sophisticated percussive backbone in her trademark hypnotic style, adding snake-charming acidic motifs to excellent effect and showcasing wise words from Andrea Restivo (a distinguished Los Angeles-based yoga teacher and wellness advocate), expounding the essential joy of living a life full of love. This elegant and thought provoking package is completed with the even more dreamlike Deeper Into Eunoia.

Tara is a resident for Desert Hearts and Subtract Music in the USA and regularly warms up for John Digweed, including at his recent Output (NY) NYE show. She wows crowds at major festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival (AUS), SXM, Coachella, BPM, Envision (Costa Rica) and more, and continues to make a considerable impression on the global scene. With a steady flow of original productions and remixes appearing on the likes of Akbal, Kindisch, Balance Series and Exotic Refreshment, and with more surprises waiting in the wings to be unveiled soon, the future is most definitely filled with light.
