Following the huge success of his debut album ‘Caligo’, Spor has hooked up with powerhouse producer Memtrix to present ‘Memtrix & Spor: Darkest Hours’ forthcoming on Sotto Voce/Lifted Music.  The track will be released on 14th September. 

‘Darkest Hours’ begins with a stream of deep cinematic melodies progressing into a melting pot of cutting-edge bass sonics and crisp drum grooves; accompanied by ambient vocals. The B-side entitled ‘Super Trace’ unfolds as a dark roller combined with sharp percussion sounds, certain to get a dance floor moving.

With over 1 million views on his track ‘All You Are’ on YouTube and over 5 releases under his belt at the age of 19, this is the start of a long journey in the world of drum & bass for Memtrix. "Working with Spor has definitely been an eye opening and insightful experience,” he says, “but I think more than that it's just been really fun. It always seems really natural and fluent in the studio and we bounce ideas off each other really well I think. Obviously it's an absolute privilege for me to work with such a household name who's work I respect so much, and this release is something I'm really proud of and excited about."

Vivrant's fourth release of the year gives us the solo debut of Stockholm-based mega-talent MOLØ. The 25-year-old has cut her teeth on the local underground scene in Stockholm for the last five years, and after her collaboration project ‘Vanadis’ with Jeremy Olander, this highly touted talent is now ready to unveil her solo debut.

MOLØ's debut project entitled 'Luma' EP comes at the hands of more than two years of intense work in the studio, and does not disappoint. Long time underground stalwart Magdelena continues to flourish with a superb new EP on Digweed’s legendary Bedrock label.
Magdelena has come up through the Hamburg scene and gone on to international acclaim. She opened and helped to run the city's EGO club with Solomun and Adriano Trolio - who also started the Diynamic label - and went on to become a core part of the family with her standout DJ sets. She soon moved on to producing her own music and then her own show on Ibiza Sonica and residency at Cova Santa in Ibiza. Her own SHADOWS party has also brought real class to venues all over the world and now after further releases on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint, and others, she brings more heat to Bedrock.
Sublime opener 'Outlines' is an emotional six minute journey with lush chord sequences riding up and down the scales. They bring light and a majestic sense of elegance to the deep rooted grooves and are sure to get clubs in motion. The more moody and direct 'Lifelines' has a darker edge, with tension in the synths and somberness in the organ chords as well as real power in the rolling kick drums that will cast a spell on all who hear them. Last of all is 'Voices', a turbulent deep techno track that has an epic breakdown and oriental melodies ringing out over booming bass. Dramatic and epic, it is a suitably standout closer.
