Bedrock return to their magnificent remix package for the VERSUS project of John Digweed & Nick Muir. The three CD album was a huge undertaking and as part of the package the Bedrock duo teamed up with a number of artists to create twelve exclusive new tracks. All label regulars, the likes of Pig&Dan, Carlo Lio, Henry Saiz and Marco Bailey joined the John and Nick in creating yet more iconic tracks for the label. 

The originals have lit up dance floors world wide since their release and we've already been treated to stunning reworks from the likes of Fairmount, Extended Play and King Unique. Today we revisit John & Nick's collaboration with Bedrock's UK party resident jozif, Groove Del Verano. 

Its a brace of mixes today too as the Bedrock duo revisit their own original to deliver a mighty brooding number that matches grinding beats with melodic synth melody. 

Next up Canadian All Day I Dream and Bedrock regular Maher Daniel who delights with his sun-drenched percussive take on Groove Del Verano, complete with birdsong.

Witness to Wisdom

The highly creative, Paris-based, Romanian electronic music composer and DJ, BOg, returns to Bedrock again with his dynamic 3-Track ‘Moonlight EP’. The EP’s title track and ‘0901’ are also highlights on the 67 track 5xCD  ‘John Digweed – Live In Brooklyn, Output NYC’, the forthcoming 9th edition of the much-lauded mix series.

With the ‘Moonlight EP’, BOg is raising his creative bar ever upwards, each of this trio of new musical masterpieces showcasing his unique talent. The instantly addictive melodic groove and sparkling energy of ‘Moonlight’ shows exactly what the young Romanian is capable of, with its hypnotic subtlety. ‘Eternal’ ups the energy quotient with its powerful groove and increasingly twisted arrangement and the spirited end result is no less enthralling. Finally, rounding off the package in style comes ‘0901’, introducing a deeper shade of darkness and warped funk into the proceedings, a combination that is sure to turn heads everywhere.

Having been deeply passionate about music since childhood, BOg has risen to his current prominence through releases on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Alex Niggemann’s Soulfooled label, in addition his regular Bedrock outings. At the end of March he will also release a track on the new ‘Secret Weapons’ (Innervisions) compilation album. His DJing skills have recently seen BOg perform alongside John Digweed and Eagles & Butterflies at Mexico’s BPM Festival, and he also will support John at his forthcoming show in Bucharest at Kristal Glam Club. This summer BOg will grace the decks at the Electric Castle Festival (Romania) alongside Dixon, Ame, DJ Sneak, and other scene luminaries. A young man to keep an eye on perhaps?

BOg - Moonlight

In February 2018, Rudy UK made his debut on Proton Music with the wonderful "Time/Spirit". Returning to the EP a trio of remixes comes courtesy of German, Polish and Dutch producers.

A nascent producer with a burgeoning career, Mio and His Flute has been making waves in the underground dance arena since early 2018. With a debut on WAYU Records in February, the six-track "Responsibilime" EP shone a spotlight on the German artist with a trio of new tracks combined with remixes from MIICHII, Fait Du Prince and Pandhora creating an outstanding package. As Mio and His Flute now debuts on Particles with a sparkling rework of "Spirit", the melodic foundations of the original are encased in a crisp new percussive shell that uses the wonderful motifs of Rudy's work as a launching pad to create a raft of new production material that lifts his remix. A sublime new lead line perfectly complements the sonic make-up of "Spirit" while richly textured pads and a collage of intermittent sounds and effects add further to proceedings as Mio and His Flute creates a strong remix.

An artist with almost a decade's experience at the underground dance scene's top table, Pysh hit the headlines in 2009 as competition winner for Booka Shade's "Regenerate" remix. Over a double century of production credits later and a 2014 full-length vinyl album for iconic German label, Einmusika, and Pysh's career has sky-rocketed in impressive fashion. With his music signed to such blue-chip imprints as Steyoyoke, Traum and Manjumasi, plus global DJ performances alongside Josh Wink, Robert Babicz and Nicole Moudaber, it is an honour to welcome the Polish produce as a Particles debutant. Remixing "Spirit", Pysh takes a heavy beat and chunky groove to form a strong foundation from which to create a rich new interpretation of the original. Evolving elegantly, a symphony of strings and analogue synth lines reinterpret Rudy UK's work, rising and falling with verve and vivacity to create an exciting new interpretation tinged with a backdrop of psychedelic acid groove.

An accomplished DJ with performances in Panama, Mexico City and across his Amsterdam hometown, Daraspa's career has continued to blossom after a November 2013 debut for Sound Avenue, supported by the global DJ elite that includes John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Chris Fortier. Since then, a century of production credits has graced the finest imprints as Daraspa has seen his work signed to such leading names as Stellar Fountain, Forward Music and Dear Deer White. It is therefore a pleasure to welcome Daraspa to Particles with a trademark dancefloor gem. Cleverly reworking the original, a deep kick and intricate percussive groove interact beautifully with the arpeggio sequence so fundamental to "Sea Change". Using a raft of additional production material to impressive effect, a rasping bass note hits hard while an analogue arpeggio coruscates across the mid-range, reaching its zenith at the breakdown. The resultant work is a joy to behold.

With a trio of new remixes there is still plenty of 'time' to infuse Rudy UK's EP with new 'spirit'.

After the original track by Hoten came out last year with an abundance of melodies, pads and progressive sounds, it was a matter of time for us to decide to have other producers remixing it.
This heavyweight remix by Irish-born and Australian-based producer Mark Craven blew our minds with the addition of new melodies, a strong groove and long breakdown followed by a knock out punch of a drop, no wonder it caught the attention by some of the world's best DJ's in the scene, having support from Hernan Cataneo, Guy Mantzur, Anthony Pappa and many more.

Barcelona based, Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat return to Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint with the imperious 'Babel' EP. Three original cuts, plus a remix feature from the in-demand Italian duo Hunter/Game.

Kicking off the EP is the title track 'Babel', a stripped back, melodic club heater, tinged with hypnotic, cosmic synth transmissions. Up next, 'Technical Maneuvers' is a bold yet refined cut which is neatly contrasted with dramatic synth blasts.
On the flip, the captivating, rolling groove of 'The Gate' takes things up a notch, and Hunter/Game turn down the lights with their remix on the title track 'Babel’. An undulating take ready to grace the dance floor.
