The eclectic tastes of British producer and DJ, Aubrey Fry span through the electronic music spectrum and earlier this year he released a stunning single ‘The Loop’. Now, Alex Banks and Charlie May deliver powerful remixes of the track.

Hailing from Brighton, Alex Banks is a DJ & Producer who explores deeper sounds influenced by jungle, broken beat, dubstep and techno. He consistently pushes the envelope with an adept technical skill and sound design which commands repeated listens. His remix combines a driving beat and futuristic synth samples primed for the dancefloor. The second remix comes from Producer Charlie May, who creates a deeper, industrial soundscape and builds to two suspenseful breakdowns.

Captain’s orders: late last year Bedrock broke the mould and released four albums in one with Quattro Artists. Among LPs from Satoshi Fumi, Quivver, and Lopezhouse came ‘Indigo Memories’, a star-gazing odyssey from Parisian producer Captain Mustache.


With a sound as a playful, elegant and refined as his name, the album was received impeccably. We suspect these remixes might be, too...
Kiko takes the lead and flips ‘Andromeda’ into a buoyant Italo-eseque romp with bright shades of euphoria laced into every ripple and twist. Elsewhere Swedish scene veteran Zoo Brazil reworks ‘Bleu Ciel’ into a triumphant, strident lesson in hypnosis while Marc DePulse leads us into a cosmic rabbit hole with subtle elements of dark disco and indie in the swaggering, bass guitar mix.


Last but not least speaKwave turbo charges ‘Catch Me’ featuring the vocals of Davina into a sultry rampant beast. Catch it if you can.

Bedrock are proud to return to an absolute seminal classic. One of the biggest prog anthems from the turn of the century: ‘Apollo Vibes’ from Pole Folder & CP. Iconic in every sense, it captures everything that was exciting and innovative about progressive house in the late 90s/early 2000s. 

20 years later its timelessness is celebrated by an all-star cast of remixers. Recruited by label founder John Digweed for their strong sense of melodic and love for cosmic grooves, each act brings a whole new twist the space-bound original. Petar Dundov adds a whole new rocket booster as a vital new top line emerges into the mix, giving the trip a whole new sense of navigation. 

Next-up is another label family member Tara Brook with a take that stays true to the original. Digging deep into Pole Folder & CP’s iconic bass pulsations, she ups the tempo and adds a contemporary sense of energy while paying full respect to the blueprint. 

Finally Phi Phi and Manu Riga’s new Kayinda project makes its Bedrock debut with an exciting subverted conclusion. Lowering the tempo for a deep, sexy, swinging groove, once again the elements of the original are all in place but the arrangement, flow and focus bring it fully into the future… Ensuring Pole Folder & CP’s exemplary original lives on and mesmerises dancefloors for another 20 years.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Rinzen is an electronic artist seeking to build entire worlds with his music. Dedicated to the pursuit of wonder, Rinzen combines mind-melting cinematic sound design with authentic techno production to create something that is awe-inspiring.

Now, on the prestigious Bedrock imprint, he releases his 'Magical Realism' EP, a trio of forward-thinking tracks with experimental futuristic sonics. Kicking off the EP 'Love Interest' combines rumbling industrial kicks with melodic synths and eery echoing spoken vocals to create a gorgeously deep and unique piece of music. The next track, 'Magical Realism', introduces low basslines and suspenseful synths.

The final track of the EP 'The Alchemist' features a stabbing bass foregrounded by ambient vocal samples building gradually to a colossal and euphoric breakdown primed for early-hours packed out dancefloors.

DNA Presents follow up their excellent ’Slip N Slide’ EP released earlier in their year with this follow up. This collective project that features the talents of Dimitri Nakov, Natacha Atlas, Charlie May and Roman Rai have been getting a lot of support and attention and rightly so when you look at the calibre of the names involved.
