Exclusive Emmanuel Jai & Nyaruach 'Ti Chuong (Musumeci Supernatural Remix)'

From the southern tip of Italy Mauro di Martino, better known under his Musumeci moniker, delivers one of the tracks of the summer 2019. His 'supernatural' remix for African musicians Emmanuel Jal and Nyaruach's track 'Ti Chuong' on MoBlack Records brims with energy and in addition to it creates a new electronic music sub-genre, 'New Afro Disco'. By far Mauro's remix approach touches various styles – the key elements can be broken down to a funky bass line topped off with disco-chords that highlight the African vocals from Emmanuel Jal and Nyaruach. So far the wrap-up. But what's not included in the latter is the way Musumeci puts these elements together, namely gently as if the single soundscapes stroke to then are closely linked to each other and generate a harmonny that forms the most versatile track. No wonder this supernatural remix has attracted the attention from various renowned artists already and has been supported by Innervision label-heads Dixon and Âme.

Musumeci's remixes for Emmanuel Jal & Nyaruach's track 'Ti Chuong' will be released on MoBlack Records on July 26th, 2019.

Casting a new chapter into MoBlack Records' repertoire, Musumeci embraces
Ayala's winter dance floor igniter and lends his signature electro-disco inspired
provision, taking the track on, for what it is essentially, a "Journey." The South
Italian DJ/Producer sets the 7:12 ensemble's energy high from the get go,
riveting electronic groove at the core, tempered hi-hat sears, kaleidoscopic
synth and poignant chords. Pulsating European flair while maintaining the
equatorial Afro House climate, Musumeci nosedives into a labyrinth Ayala had
previously set forth, colliding in parallel speed, with the track's compelling
ethnic vocals and lush atmosphere, through to a lustrous, sense-gratifying
finish.
When MoBlack dropped Ayala's Cosmic EP late last year, Journey's versatility
stood out as the ideal baseboard for reinterpretation, which A-side delivered
impeccably. After its elasticity was stretched taut and recoiled by Musumeci's
deft multigenerational fingers and a noir touch, it only comes naturally, and in
perfect order, that MB378 comes in full circle with Ayala's original mix. Journey,
in its blithe, earthen grace, comes on B-side, a welcome, unwinding, arrival.
Landing back, right at home.
