Marc Romboy's infectious, driving cut for Bedrock records Counting Comets is back with a fresh new remix by Berliner and Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein. The original track – also released on Digweed's seminal label – was Romboy at his most uplifting, cosmic and grooving tech-house best.  
After igniting clubs worldwide, the dance-floor favourite, originally released in summer 2015, receives an updated sheen from Hagelstein (who recently remixed Namito and Brams 'YTO' on Romboy's Systematic Recordings) imprint), plus a brand new follow on cut from Romboy himself. 
Hagelstein's interpretation takes the listener on a journey through twisted and distorted tech house from the offset, with disintegrated, 8-bit beats lending the track a stomping groove. He roughed up the pristine edges of the original and lain down a thumping kick drum while distorted synth chords fluctuate between minor and major tones. 
Romboy offers listeners a fresh interpretation in 2016 with Part 2, his down-tempo mix of the original cut. Rising through a crescendoing swathe of atmospheric tones like a sunrise over a valley, it's beatless montage of ambient sounds and vast, rolling harmonics offer a calming and soothing beginning for this ten minute epic. Then, a growling, melodic bassline grounds the track with solid foundations as sprinkles of groove and heads-down atmosphere begin to unfold.

Akillès offers a rich and diverse musical journey, ranging from micro-house to captivating techno, while integrating a melodic dimension that maintains a deep and powerful groove. Passionate about melodic sounds, whether rock or electronic, he has crafted a unique sonic identity.

A lover of DJing for nearly 20 years, Akillès has shared his universe in iconic clubs in Lyon, such as Le Petit Salon, Le Terminal, and Le Sucre, as well as in Paris, Toulouse, Barcelona, and many other cities. His music asserts itself wherever he performs, capturing the emotions of the dance floor with every beat.

In 2019, he joined the XLR Events collective, and in 2022, he took over the artistic direction of the Parisian scene. The legendary club Le Nouveau Casino became his playground to organize melodic nights, further solidifying his place among the emerging figures of melodic techno.

In terms of production, Akillès made his debut in 2025 with a well-received first EP on Us & Them Records, a label known for its melodic techno productions.
However, it is 2025 that marks a turning point in his production career, with several tracks released on the 7 Lives Recording label.

The best is yet to come in the final months of this year and into 2026, which promises to be full of exciting new releases.

He has shared line-ups with artists such as 8Kays, Bog, Fidèles, Adana Twins, Len Faki, Massano, Mario Canale, Un:Said, Agoria, Monika Kruse, Agent of Time, Lee Curtis, Ryan Crosson, Alex Flatner, Sven Von Tulen, Popof, Hector Couto, and many more.

The researchers found that the brains of individuals who occasionally feel a chill while listening to music were wired differently than the control subjects. They had more nerve fibers connecting auditory cortex, the part of the brain that processes sound, to their anterior insular cortex, a region involved in processing feelings. The auditory cortex also had strong links to parts of the brain that may monitor emotions. But researchers are seeing positive developments in this area. There are signs that whilst listening to the intellectually crafted mixes of Mind Seed, the disconnected fibers of the control subjects are gradually reconnecting themselves to the auditory cortex.
