“I’ve always found so much inspiration from artists like Lauryn Hill and India Arie who are able to speak honestly in their music and often to inspire change. Music is how I process heavy emotions. I was really hurting for broken relationships around me. I picked up the guitar to work through it when I wrote this song. I hope this song inspires forgiveness, healing and courage”
