Entre pop et rock, Miss Machine mêle à ses guitares la douceur de sa voix. Les résonances électroniques de ses pianos, les mélodies efficaces et les textes impressionnistes en français, façonnent alors une musique aussi audacieuse qu’accessible.

Les influences sont bien anglo-saxonnes, on pense à la fois à Metric, à Meg Myers ou encore à Garbage. On y retrouve aussi une filiation avec une certaine tradition indémodable de pop-rock à la française. Miss Machine combine avec bonheur l’énergie percutante d’un rock bien mené à la gratification sucrée d’une pop édulcorée.

Miss Machine est une musicienne nantaise, à la fois guitariste et pianiste, qui se cache derrière ce nom comme un Monsieur Tout-le-monde, ou une Madame Bidule. Miss Machine aime aussi dire et réfléchir sur le dire des choses. Exutoires expressifs ou épisodes narratifs à la texture ouverte, ses textes sortent des sentiers battus de la musique populaire.

Wireless Folk Radio is the online sound of Wireless Folk, a live music night created to promote folk/roots/traditional music by travelling musicians passing through Limerick city. In keeping with the grassroots spirit of folk music all concerts will be entirely acoustic with no microphones or PA systems and will take place in various alternative venues around the city like cafés, galleries, bookshops and record stores.

Wireless Folk Radio is designed to promote upcoming gigs through short radio shows exploring the influences and roots of musicians who will play at Wireless Folk.
