  Born a Marked Tree Arkansas native. Ricky Mitchell moved to Jonesboro Arkansas at a very young age were local talent was everywhere u looked. Already had a passion for music that he got from his parents that hardly ever watched tv, but constantly listed to some of the greatest blues and r&b legends such as Johnny Taylor, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson ect... He quickly grasp everysong he heard and realized that he had a talent he never new about... He could sing. At 13 he met a exfriend who he started sitting down at computer with trying to make beats and rapping to them. Both of them possessed a talent that was amazing and decided to start a rap group by the name of Projectbound Posse. Years went on and the passion for writing was the only thing Ricky knew. At 16 he was blessed to become a part of a group of rappers he had always looked up to Killa Boyz. Everyone seen eye to eye. They all wanted to make amazing music and was extremely good at it. Ricky strive so hard to find himself as a artist and succeed and did lyrically and mentally. Still to this day he still raps with the same group of men that consider themselves all brothers now known as Upperklass Alumni and thats when he realize what musci really meant to him and thats when King Rico came along. Rico believes in loyalty,family,and god. He dont concider himself a rapper hes a musician that loves good music no matter the genre. Rico considers his musik reality there is no genre. He speaks for the one in the struggle trying to succeed in life, That believe in family. Thats a everyday real life, no glamour and thats the life he lives so thats what he writes. He prays to bring his family the whole world so he must strive and make it all happen. Dedication is everything!
