But classic stage performances have never been the only show going on at the Cellar. The biggest comedians in the world come to sit at “the table” upstairs to argue and sharpen their comedy knives on each other. Flappers Comedy Club & Restaurant In Two Locations:  Burbank and Claremont 

BURBANK CLUB:  Flappers Comedy LLC is operated by a group of people who are passionate about comedy.  Proprietors, Barbara Holliday and Dave Reinitz, operate the Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank that is 7000 square feet of good times which features 4 Stages and a Full Restaurant and Bar with a 1920’s theme and is “Still Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition”.   The main showroom seats 225 and has played host to major comedy headliners from around the country such as Bill Burr, Christopher Titus, Maria Bamford, Blly Gardell, Jim Breuer, Doug Benson, Tom Green, Margaret Cho, Greg Proops, Dave Coulier, Craig Shoemaker, and many many, many more.  The club also has a smaller 60 seat showroom, “The Yoo Hoo Room,” which showcases an edgy mix of national headliners and LA’s hottest up-and-coming comedians.  Patrons are welcome to hang out and eat and drink before and in between shows at the 60-seat bar, where the No Blender Late Night Bar Shows take place every Wednesday  through Saturday at 11:30pm. CLAREMONT CLUB:  Flappers Comedy LLC is operated by a group of people who are passionate about comedy.  Proprietors, Barbara Holliday and Dave Reinitz, operate the Flappers Comedy Club in Claremont, located in the historic Packing House at the Claremont Village,  that features a 100-seat showroom with a 1920’s theme and is “Still Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition”.   National headliners, including Maria Bamford, Hal Sparks, David Newton, Laurie Kilmartin, Jeff Richards, Jackie Kashian, James P. Connolly, Bill Dwyer, Samuel J. Comroe, and many, many more continually grace the Claremont stage, as well as local favorites and some of LA’s hottest up-and-coming comedians. H2F COMEDY PRODUCTIONS:  Need a comedian for you next special event?. FLAPPERS UNIVERSITY  Both Locations offer a full range of comedy classes for kids, teens and adults that include everything from stand up comedy, writing for late night televsion, improv and even business of comedy classes such as Marketing and Promoting yourself as an artist.  Students will also particpate in showcases and have lots of opportunities to view shows.  At Flappers University, we believe that comedy is truly an art-form—a combination of raw talent and technique.   Talent can be lost without technique, so we first teach joke structure and the basic language of comedy. We also believe that what makes a great comedian is being personal and authentic and, perhaps, a rule-breaker, so we provide a safe and fun environment where you can be just that: authentic, inspired and successful. Whether you are already a working comedian or looking to make it your profession, or simply need help with that next presentation or just want to come and have fun, we can help you find the path to funny.   Shannon Gettins, FU’s dean, has been wowing audiences as a club and corporate comedienne for the past decade. Her raucous  humor and sharp comedic insight won her top spot at the California Comedy Conference in 2006, and took her all the way to the finals of California’s Funniest Female in 2007.   In 2005 Shannon began coaching at Judy Carter’s Comedy Workshops and two years later she launched Comedy Relief, teaching stand-up comedy and Improv to adults and teens all over Southern California.
