When talking about eccentric electro, issu has got to be mentioned as one of the up and coming producers of 2022. His hard and edgy brand of electro leaves no survivors as it rips through the auditory system of listeners. He's back at the Dallas, Texas based Science Cult as one of their core label family and continues to deliver high octane releases.

The 5th installment in Duncan Forbes' 49North EP series, sees 3 of his recently released originals - take on tantalising new forms.

Up first is D's very own spin on his ambient, analogue stunner - 'Continental Drift'; which, via his 'Ode To All The Cosmic Disco Pixies' - re-emerges in a far more club-oriented plain, whilst still retaining that signature, wide-eyed charm.

Following this, is 'Strobe Dancer (Part Two)' - Duncan's sequel to his first ever full solo outing. And whilst it's very much cloaked in the same spectral, unearthly atmosphere as it's predecessor - this new chapter harbours a greater sense of urgency whilst dialling up the hypnotic a few notches as well.

And for the final half of this package - we return to EP3's 'Omnite'. Firstly, via a brand new Denham Audio rework, where on this occasion they lead Duncan's original into raw, sub-fuelled Junglist territory; that is before the genre-shunning Ryan James Ford flips the production emphatically on its head - delivering a quite extraordinary slab of Aphex-flavoured Techno psychedelia.

@subsist next release arrives courtesy of Spanish producer @victorsantanaofficial. With the tried and true TR-909 lending the track its sturdy skeleton, a growling synth gives it some angsty edge, while the higher-pitched tones seem to hint at some kind of imminent meltdown.

This week we go deep into the Amsterdam underground and welcome 42nd Avenue to the series. The Maastricht-born Amsterdam-based selector has been a mainstay for years, earning his stripes in illegal raves back in the day at places like Waterhouse with the Sonorous Cell crew, or more recently as a resident DJ for the talented Kraft und Licht crew. Over the years, he's shared the stage with Adam Pits, Eversines, D. Tiffany, and many others. His selection is typical of Amsterdam which covers deep acid, electro-tinted bangers, and dub including tracks by local gem Jasmin, Lurka, Laurel Halo & Hodge, Equiknoxx. Lock in!

Diynamic’s recent member from the Netherlands released his first whole EP on the Hamburg based label. His debut shows that his production skills have evolved enourmously in the last few months which justifies his constant appearance on Diynamic. The opener is a dreamy track which literally takes you by the hand and leads you through cold winter days. The huge power of its warm melody and the supporting vocals by Terry Shand embrace all kinds of music tastes. Also the dub version of “Take My Hand” shows that Karmon’s productions are nothing but pure beat and sound facility. With “When Dark Becomes Light” Karmon creates a very connecting atmosphere between the name and the track itself. Its relaxed pianotunes and the short but very intense acoustical break unite wonderfully with the melodic basslines. The melody of that track gives you a typical Diynamic earworm, we all love so much. The second b side track “Feel It” is a beautiful composition of both free heavenly melodies and wonderfully arranged synth & basslines, giving its listeners a feeling of total clarity and inner consciousness. - WE FEEL IT!

Armenian duo Supacooks bring us a Disco infused house affair while Daniel Rich from Hush/Soulman drives us back into the deep waters…. Finally two closing tunes are by Soundstorm and German artist Miami Ice from Lost My Dog. 2013 is looking bright!
