A Solid compilation of exclusive new music on the freshly formed 'Advanced Public Listening Records', Japan. It’s a the new Japanese label established by Miho Mepo, a veteran of the Berlin music scene for the past 30 years. After recently coming back to Japan, she decided to start this new, highly conceptual label that symbolizes her unconventional musical vision, experience and network that she accrued while living in Europe. 

As she has stated, “This is my dedication to the musicians and music lovers everywhere at this darkest moment of the pandemic… What the world needs now is not panic BUT pure energy and the essence of real music. Through this compilation, we strive to share with all, true music created out of miracles and magical moments. I have no doubt that these refined musical vibes will help us grasp the universal nature of true understanding and hopefully assist us in realizing that music has the ability to make us free deeply”

Since summer 2004 the aficionado label Klangscheiben - Records runs its business with dedication to the mini-funk with maximum effect. First started as a rumpling place for groove chimera in the sound-design of label-owner demas, the artist grid expanded appreciably. Since then much minimal water flowed down the valleys worldwide - the dams threaten to flood… But not the dams in the tranquil little city Steinach in Thuringia, because finest selection with sophisticated electronic body-music instead of peak-time flooding is announced. Without committing to a direction the label flanked between the styles of house and techno with a funky thrill and experimental note.

Born and raised in Berlin, Steven Engelmann started to spin records in 1997. He was inspired by uncountable nights in clubs like E-Werk,WMF, Deli, Ostgut, Tresor and his love to electronic music. Over the past years his sound brought him to almost every Club event in Berlin: Bar25, Tresor, Berghain/Kantine, Weekend, Kater Holzig, Sisyphos, Golden Gate, Sternradio, Pfefferbank and many more.

It didn't take a long time for his passion to take him abroad. He has played in countries such as  Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Iceland, Italia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Uruguay.

Engelmann has shared decks with artists like Speedy J, Darko Esser, Dan Curtin, Jake the Rapper, Maja Jane Coles, Remute aka Denis Karimani, Inigo Kennedy, Fiedel, Boris Werner, Melon, Nuno Dos Santos, Patrice Baumel, Toni Rios, Agaric, Stimming, Oliver Deutschmann , Sven Weisemann, Ed Davenport , Mark Henning, SIS, Superflu, Someone Else, M.A.N.D.Y., Tiefschwarz, Oliver Koletzki, Audio Werner, LTJ Bukem, Tom Clark, Argenis Brito, Mark August , Jerome Sydenham, Slam, Dave Clarke, Genius of Time, Redshape, Miniloque, Tyree Cooper, Damon Wild and many more.

A young upcoming sardinian-born producer, Davide James makes live and production music with a great passion and deep love for music - berlin-flavored with a special summer breeze and with a lot of energy moving inside.
 Davide James is an amazing performer. 
He approaches to live music and production with great passion. His driving force is his love for music and a unique inner energy.
Originally trained as a drummer, Davide developed soon his interest and talent into Jazz-Pop-Rock and other musical directions before he started to express himself with electronic music.
In early 2009 he moved to Berlin, Germany, where he spent several years playing in most of the Berlin clubs with kmln (chameleon), which was an experimental and training experience for him.
