Tears of a clown
Dit is mijn tweede recording project waarbij ik twee songs heb gebruikt van mijn eerste cd omdat ik dit zelf mijn favorieten vind en de mix daarvan wat heb verbeterd.Het is voor mij een betere cd dan de eerste omdat er nog veel te leren is maar ook veel beter is gegaan in het produceren ervan. Ik denk al met al een betere cd. die met meer plezier is gemaakt.

Given The World Earth is a growing portfolio of my musical experimentations. I love heavy and dark music, but I reserve the right to deviate from that vein. Constructive criticism is appreciated. I even like to collaborate with others sometimes. ^_^

Biography

Born in Paris in 2005, the CERVIKAL band has contributed to the movement of the hardcore scene in Paris during 6 years. After years of rehearsals at the famous Studio Luna Rossa, their music became a mix of hardcore and death metal influenced by drum'n'bass, jazz and grindcore. They recorded their first demo at Studio DGD and an EP 4 tracks at Studio Hybreed (7th Nemesis, The Arrs, Carnal Lust, Onesta, Hardside...). Regular organizers of "La Fête de la Musique" on the Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris, they also participate in dozens of concerts in Paris and Ile-de-France (La Miroiterie, Canal 93, Capitol Studios, Le Reservoir, Le Rocher, Le Pixi...). 
The quartet shared the stage with many talented groups such as: L'Esprit du Clan, As They Burn, Tri(balles), Pledge Of Silence, Selfhate, Hackdown, Remote, Grub, Frrt... An adventure that will leave marks!

Ils enregistrent une première démo au Studio DGD, puis un maxi 4 titres au Studio Hybreed (7th Nemesis, The Arrs, Carnal Lust, Onesta, Hardside...). Organisateurs réguliers de la Fête de la Musique sur le boulevard Saint Germain, ils participent également à des dizaines de concerts sur Paris et en Ile-de-France (La Miroiterie, Canal 93, Capitol Studios, Le Reservoir, Le Rocher, Le Pixi...). 
Le quatuor partage la scène avec plusieurs groupes talentueux comme Tri(balles), L'Esprit du Clan, As They Burn, Pledge Of Silence, Selfhate, Hackdown, Remote, Grub, Frrt...

GATSC resides in the middle of The Netherlands. Currently collaborating with the also Dutch band Disfunctionals and RPHRivers.

I'm not a professional, you can probably tell, and self finance everything I do. It's a true labor of love. So I need all the support I can get.

I produce neo-classical, progressive rock, ambient and anything else that sparks an emotional response... which is always my aim.

I play all the instruments, write and produce everything on a very limited budget. 

Distant Earth is a reference to one of my greatest loves, Arthur C Clarke… these are the songs of Distant Earth. Hope you like them.

Oceanborn is a progressive metal band from Chicago, IL.

Behead The Dead is a Metalcore/Groove Metal band from Portugal. Previously known as Tribal Phever, Behead the dead are now back with a brand new style and name. Formed in December 2007 as a small heavy band, Behead The Dead are gradually becoming more than just a small band. Behead The Dead consists of three members: Matthew Jozsef (Lyricist and Vocalist), Adam Kirchberger (Drums) and Jeremy Pringsheim (Guitars). At first, Behead The Dead took a while to realise their true potential and style. When Tribal Phever was created, the band was mainly interested in exploring more complex music styles such as extreme metal and progressive metal. They wrote several songs to try and advance in this style, which they compiled to make their Demo album “An Absconding Recluse”, which was never publicly released. The main songs from this album were: “1000 Deaths”, “Sound of Pain” and “Train” – the latter is even sometimes included in set-lists nowadays.

Around February 2009, Adam and Jeremy decided that the music they had been writing previously wasn’t what they were really going for. The progressive style was interesting but what they were really aiming for was a much heavier sound. At this time, they were both heavily influenced by Machine Head, Pantera and Shadows Fall, specifically. Therefore, the kind of metal they had in mind was the groovy, powerful and energetic kind. With these influences in mind, they got back to the practice space and wrote both parts of the song “Incense”. When they recorded the whole song, got Matthew in to record vocals, and asked a friend of the band – Vasco Abreu – to record bass, they were very pleased with the results. So much so, that they decided to permanently change to this style.
When this decision became final, the band (who at that time, were still called Tribal Phever) decided to change their name to something that matched their new style. They came up with “Behead The Dead” and the transformation was made: Tribal Phever, a Progressive Metal band, had turned into Behead The Dead: a quickly advancing Groove Metal band that were ready to take their peers by storm!

Once they had this new style carved into their minds, they continued writing until they had enough songs to fill an EP. They then recorded and released these songs on an EP entitled “Unleash The Deceased”, which is available on many popular online music stores, such as iTunes, Amazon, LastFM, amongst many others. The band is extremely proud of the latest addition to their discography, and is currently on their “Annihilation Tour” in support of it. Apart from the songs from Unleash The Deceased, Behead The Dead are playing some new material on the tour, which is moving towards an even more substantial advance, musically and stylistically, influenced by bands like August Burns Red and Lamb of God.

The band’s plans for the future include building their fan-base, playing a load of concerts with more and more established metal acts and eventually record a full-length album, but only time will tell where these 3 young metal-heads will find themselves.
