THIS LIFE I CREATE.
Sick of blaming my lack of power on
external forces that render me nothing.
Tired of claiming my holes and threads
were torn by parents whose mistakes
I dread. Feelings that bubble beneath
the surface causing sweat that seeps
and drips from skin. It’s hard to know
my own intent so foreign is thought
that derives within. Dreams dictate the
things I find. Reflections of inside my
mind. My own free will saves me from
my fate in this life that I create. And
I dream the same dream every night.
The faces and pictures change but the
feeling stays the same. The ones that
hold me back, the ones that make me
fail. I feel like I’m destined for more, I’m
destined for more than this. So when’s
it my time? When’s it my time to shine?
Taken flight now birds of prey. The
victim will dictate the play. This is not
the work of fools but honest truth that
breaks the rules. Echoes of the things
I’ve said. These daily choices weave my
web. These twisting pathways that I take
in this life that I create. And I dream the
same dream every night. The faces and
pictures change but the feeling stays the
same. A place held deep within my soul.
The jaded thoughts that I withhold. The
need to overcome this pain. The will to
truly live again. For this life that I create
is mine to truly take. This life that I, that
I create. It is mine, it’s mine to truly take.
I’ve come so far, but I’m still, I’m still so
far away. I’ve come so far but I’m still so
far away. Take my hand come with me to
this place where I come alive.

I dont like writing music as I used to, but I love mixing. This is a "song" I made after been listening to some filthy dubstep and basically I just made it because I wanted to try some new mix thingies.

First recording with $150 bass. Maybe a bit Townsend-ish? So I've heard at least haha.
