being (love traxxx special) - February 2025 - Sigil Radio


I’m kinda obsessed with the last tune that people pick to play in their sets, sometimes it’s a real curveball and nothing like the tunes before it.

Spoiler, the last tune in this mix is a rework of the italo classic Spacer Woman (trust me you’ve heard that tune before, if not swipe and you will)

I bought it from a record seller called Bruce in Barcelona, he said that he was always booked as a closer, someone to cool the crowd down. This he insisted, was one of his weapons, I simply must buy so I can make people realise it’s time to go home. The tune really is beautiful rework tho, it falls apart piece by piece until we’re left with just the essence of the track. Its also special because it’s one of the only tunes I’ve managed to rip from record successfully 🙏🏻

anyway I’m really really proud of this mix, its deep, dub, electro and all love, some of my absolute favs in here, deep classics and new favs from the being soundsytem. 

It also includes the worlds best track id, you can pretend you’re really cool by saying around 14 minute, oh this one?  it’s; zeitgeist freedom energy exchange - kreuzberg kix (ge-ology’s brooklyn slap mix); honestly if that isn’t an track ID for the ages I don’t know what is.

sometimes the world can really lock you into what in wants you to believe, i set the intention of going elsewhere and getting into a different mindset entirely, set controls for the heart of the sun, knowing that you’ll end up in the warm warm arms of spacer woman, i won’t let you down, promise with my whole heart 💖
