DeWolf is Hungarian born Karl Farkas, a synthpop musician, songwriter, keyboardist and singer. 
DeWolf entered the music scene in the 90’s as the singer for „New Generation”, a synthpop underground band inspired by Depeche Mode. New Generation, a trio consisting of co-producer, Shine, Mick Lowland and DeWolf quickly became popular in the Budapest club scene taking Depeche Mode Fan Clubs by storm with their unique sound and catchy tunes.  The group released three albums: “Dreams”, “With tears in my eyes” and “New Generation” before splitting up in 1996. Shine, Mick Lowland and DeWolf remained friends and have collaborated in several music projects. 
DeWolf launched his solo music career and released his first album, The Sound of House in 1999. After 2000 he decided to temporarily focus on his other passion, go-kart racing, and founded the Hungarian Go-kart Association, organizing championships and races for Hungarian go-kart fans. 
Between 2000 and 2005 DeWolf released several critically acclaimed remixes for Hungarian recording artists Ákos, Unique, Pain and Tibor Fábián. 
In 2007 DeWolf and Shine reunited and began rewriting some of their unreleased tracks also composing new songs, but the collaboration came to a standstill and finally DeWolf decided to continue on his own, writing songs for his second album „Live Your Dreams Again” which was released in 2012. It featured tracks like „Fly Away”, „Remind Me”, and „Dreamin’” and the songs were recorded with a promising young singer, Moreen, whom DeWolf met while searching for a new vocalist. 
After the success of “Live Your Dreams Again” and his remix for Katy Perry’s “Firework”, DeWolf found inspiration for composing music again, and is currently experimenting with his signature sound, the fusion of 80’s synthpop, eurodance, and sensual vocals. He will soon be releasing the first track „Play Along feat. Noen” from his upcoming album, “Odd and Even” in collaboration with lyrics writer , Agnes Juhasz (SingWhat?) – linkto: www.singwhat.webs.com at the beginning of 2013.
