We are excited to welcome Australian artist Moontide to the Earthly Measures family with his truly beautiful EP 'Dreams Within Dreams' including remixes from Kusht and ourselves.

Dreams Within Dreams is built entirely from field recordings captured in churches, temples, and other places of ritual. The EP marks Moontide's use of exclusively analog synthesisers for the drums and melodies, which respond to these recorded environments.

The work explores the acoustic properties of these intentional spaces, their reverbs, silences, and ambient textures. Each track layers these field recordings with analog synthesis, creating compositions that exist somewhere between documentation and interpretation.

Igor Marijuan runs the Ibiza Sonica radio station and is actively involved in broadcasting club sounds on the radio using many platforms, inside both radio booths and at clubs. On the decks, he describes his sessions as a perfect balance between easy listening and underground sounds. A variety of styles is his calling card: house, deep house, and all their intersections in a sophisticated way.

Our lucky 13 podcast comes from Serbian native and The Purr Music record label manager, Jelly for the Babies. 

Bio: "It is said that hard times can forge a hard work ethic. For me, this is certainly the case. My first synthesizer was a Casio SA-20, and the 100 sound banks that it came with were enough to capture bring my attention towards music. 

Coming from the time of a severe economic crash in Serbia, as many of people in my country, we struggled for a better life, while learning the in's and out's of music production on my humble windows XP computer. Over the years, I refined my approach, and my project “Jelly For The Babies” moniker pioneers what I call the “candy-flavored sound.”

Jelly For The Babies project was created in 2007. The whole project is based mostly on deep, melodic, and melancholic sounds with plenty of vocals mixed up in various genres of electronic music.

Besides producing I am managing three labels, distributed by Proton, One Of A Kind, The Purr Music, and RYNTH.
