With the greatest respect to mogwai this must surely be an excellent composition in its own right! I must check them out!

Not heard the original but this definitely sounds like Mogwai's film soundtrack work, beautiful atmospheric rendition

not familiar with the original song but this is impressive as a score can get . emotions run the gamut listening to this... wow!

There are many reasons why I could, one year later I'm posting this again. A very painful breakup. I am in great pain. This song hits hard. This is dedicated the most beautiful, caring, generous Yvane, who lost her brother to a likely suicide. She never got over his death. Yvane, I miss you, you were my friend, my cousin and an exceptional mother, leaving two remarquable children in grief. She couldn't make "the suffering" -  the secret haunting monster in her head, go away.
