Let me start by simply acknowledging and celebrating the conception and determination to create represented by your Taffeta project. Part 100 of 266...stunning ambition.  I enjoy reading your notes as you go. The whole tune feels like watching a sci-fi...2001 comes to mind...so enormous in scope. Yet, the details carry us along, heavy lows, and shifting electronica create mystery. By 2:14...wow...a determined musical statement of elevation emerges from the nebulous sounds. Ponderous and lofty. loved the strings emerging near the end, soaring over the heaviness of brass/organ. Kudos!

This track may have set a milestone for me, its raw and could need some more versions to it before presenting it, but I feel this marks a milestone for me.
Roland D70+Roland Gaia for melody.
BARP2600 Lead synth.

Patches on the two Rolands are my own patches. The Gaia is virtual analog so its easy to work with, the D70 is diving into menues, but once you have learned it, it's no big deal. The BARP2600 is 100% analog so of course the sound is created by my own settings.

There seems to be a lot of noise but much of it is the wind, not on the microphones but on the trees' leaves.  Normally I would not keep or upload it but here, the tree leaves, I think it's OK.  I like the way they move like a living organism.  It's more irregular than ocean waves for example.
