Always wear helmets and the best is not to ride them at all, because they took already many lives and young souls very unfairly, close friends and acquaintances. Careful y'all out there, 4 wheels are always safer with normal speed of course, because this can be truly dangerous too if you overestimate your limits and strengths.

Speed Shadows (R.I.P Takis)

In the half-light between dreaming and waking, our world reveals its true nature: a perpetual threshold where nothing fully is, yet everything is becoming. Airport terminals at 3 AM hold their breath in fluorescent stillness, neither departure nor arrival, while empty parking garages echo with the ghostly memories of footsteps that might have been. We live in the spaces between definitive moments—the pause before the conductor's baton falls, the instant between clicking "send" and delivery, the sunset hour when day hasn't quite surrendered to night. These liminal spaces are reality's waiting rooms, where time feels both stretched and compressed, where identity becomes fluid as mercury, and where the familiar world dissolves into something stranger and more sublime. Here, in these threshold spaces, we are all travelers passing through doors that lead to doors that lead to doors, never quite arriving, never fully departed, suspended in the infinite moment between what was and what will be.

The piano used on this piece was a supposed haunted object, rescued from a cruise ship that had been left to float away.

The Liminal

This is my first ever collaboration with @AWITW (A Walk in the Woods) a.k.a. Nico from France. He has been kind enough to feature a couple of my songs on his record label @goldenforestrecords, but we never worked together until now.

I sent him a very chilled out hip hoppy kind of beat and he evolved it into this awesome IDM jam. Thanks for checking it out!

With the exception of the gongs, a combination of a modified Dreamsynth bell preset and Gong Amp, everything was made with one monster virtual modular patch using VCV Rack (Mostly Surge XT modules). 

Probably not the best way to do it, I should have learned from how easy it was splitting things last week, but everything including the gongs was multi-track recorded as a single live performance. Apart from pushing my far from shabby CPU to it's limit I wasn't able to modulate as many things as I'd have liked, ran into the not enough physical knobs/sliders limit.  ,
