A fost o improvizație în care am încercat să redau acea senzație de calm, dar și de mister, cu fiecare suflare. Fluierul, cu timbrul său cald și aerisit, te poartă într-o stare de visare, unde nu mai există graba zilei. E un fel de “pauză” sonoră, o oportunitate de a lăsa mintea să se liniștească și să se conecteze cu ceva mai profund și mai simplu.

Radio 80000 is a non-commercial online radio from Munich and was founded in April 2015. It functions as a platform, promoting collaboration and cultural expression through music, dialogue and events throughout Germany. Currently more than 160 contributors regularly broadcast shows from Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Hamburg and Vienna.

At Radio 80000, established and emerging musicians, DJs and artists as well as music enthusiasts without any professional ambitions engage in what has become an intensive exchange – offering a unique selection of timeless and contemporary music, with quality always being the top priority.

Since its foundation, the radio has grown into a network that unites individuals, leading to new collaborations between artists, labels and institutions inter/nationally.

Broadcasting live from Coal Drops Yard, London Tues-Sun 11-11

Wolkenpark – this metaphore describes the sound of the quartet of Swiss musicians pretty accurate! The band is performing its own compositions using an attractice blend of modern club styles, drum‘n‘bass, ambient, electrofunk and chillout. All that becomes their jazzy original brand, being called «Urban Hybrid Sounds». Coming all from a jazz background (three of the guys teach at Swiss jazz schools), they impress with nasty grooves mixing synthesized sounds, live looping and effects with the acoustic sound of their instruments – trumpet (Kriz Flueler), rhodes (Julien Boss), electric bass (Jean-Pierre Schaller) and drums (Johan Wermeille). With Wolkenpark they join their experience of playing together hundreds of gigs in various combinations since the early eighties. If there has ever been a blend of Glasper, Zawinul, Miles and Goldie – here it is.
