I have always wanted to write a song for Christmas. Somehow it took me all these years to finally do it. Before any recording is available, here's the Sibelius mp3 file, using strings instead of human voices. The lyrics are the English translation by J. M. Neale and H. W. Baker of the original Latin text written by Aurelius Clemens Prudentius:
