Ska Seelig is a self-producing queer Berlin-based artist who loves the limbo of constantly questioning and slowly arriving, and finding beauty in all the multifaceted aspects of identity, love and growths. Her music is a wide-eyed, reflective, and vivid testament of that. Always waving her voice through an unconventional mix of styles and sounds, and hoping to empower, soothe, or simply make you think.

With her first record, Drowning, Ska Seelig explores the assumptions we make about others before we get to know someone better. Past experiences, expectations, or wishful thinking can paint a picture in our head that is utterly realistic yet misguiding.
