The next single from the album ''Def By Stereo'' is the Beat Bruisers admittedly favorite track on the album “Now.”  Incorporating live guitar and bass with sampling Suplex reveals the theme of the track “it’s about the conditions we grew up in, being poor as fuck in a rough neighborhood and struggling with our fucked up parents.”

''Def By Stereo'', the full-length debut by production team, The Beat Bruisers. The Southern California based duo is composed of producer Suplex and producer/emcee Harsh Ramirez.  With years of work and experience in the game individually, the duo joined forces recently and developed a potent chemistry.  Joining Ramirez on mic duties through the entire album is Grimy NY all-star Ruste Juxx and rising L.A. spitter Pawz One.

Speaking on the genesis of the album Suplex said “we knew that we wanted to put out an album with emcees that stayed active.  We liked what Pawz and Ruste were doing and we connected with them via the internet.  The first song we did together was ‘Unphuckwitable’ and it came out amazing.  We didn’t consciously intend to make a whole album with that line-up but before we knew it we had a few songs completed and just decided to keep going.”

The Rockstalgia EP is almost a "Rockin', Nostalgic" travel back to the 90's with beats and rhymes being center stage, cuts are thrown in the mix and there you have it - 2016 boombap, straight out of Europe.

Each song on the EP represents a certain year in the 90s. So you'll get songs with both an early and mid/late 90s feel to it. For example on the first song "Listen" you'll recognize the '93 sound immediately and then on the next song "Sin City" you get a feeling you're wondering around the city back in '98. A part from that songs like "Think Back" and "Mad World" both have strong topics which gives the listener a nice variety of songs.

Jace Abstract and Robin Da Landlord met each other through Lord Lhus when he asked Robin if he would be down to produce an EP for him with Jace. When they both met in person for the first time at Eastgarden Music Studio, the idea came up to work on a project together, and that’s how "Rockstalgia" all started.

March 25th will be an early start to 4/20 with the release of emcee duo, Chuuwee & Trizz’s new album, “AmeriKKa’s Most Blunted 2”. To be released via Below System Records (Masta Ace, JR & PH7, Pearl Gates) this is the long-awaited sequel to the first installment released over two years ago.

Utilizing a cadre of Producers including Ac3, Monibeatz, Saro and Montage the duo musically land somewhere between the adjectives hyphy, chilled-out and jazzy. Guests on the emcee side for the album include comrades, Sahtyre, Tay Hundreds and Mark Battles.

While both emcees may ingest copious amounts of herb, it apparently has little to no effect on their non-stop work ethic. For example Chuuwee, although just hitting the age of 25, already has a discography of over twenty albums and mixtapes to his name. Raised in Sacramento, CA the “South Sac Mack” had the benefit of a home studio as a child as his Mother was studying music production. In his teens Chuuwee (born Dionte Hunter) was already destroying local poetry slams with his rhymes.

The fruit of this constant labor includes U.S. shows alongside such influences as Mistah Fab, Rakim and Rhymefest. He also recently completed a European tour with JR & PH7.

Los Angeles based Trizz (born Arthur Lea III) compliments his partner well. Picking up the microphone at the age of 9, he has developed his own voice that reflects both his California DNA as well as an interest in the macabre. Among his successful early works was his album Case 17 (so named for the 17 murders tied to serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer).

Now at 24 years old, Trizz lyrical skills earned him a place on horrorcore legend, Brotha Lynch Hung’s, Madesicc Muzicc label. This includes earning two writing credits on Brotha Lynch Hung’s seventh studio album Mannibalector (2013) and appearing on the Independent Powerhouse Tour”, alongside Tech N9ne, Rittz and Kutt Calhoun.

Gearing up for the release of “AmeriKKa’s Most Blunted 2” the duo whetted fan’s appetites with the release of a free EP titled “The Smoke Out”, which dropped in Mid-February. The 3 songs on this EP are available on the CD version as bonus tracks.

The record came together when Pearl Gates was on tour in Europe opening for Masta Ace. Gates and eMC previously worked together on eMC's "The Tonite Show" album on the song "Fly Thoughts". Gates also says ''with "The Ritual" I just wanted to invite the listener into the room to see the progression firsthand, and luckily for me once Ace heard the record he wanted to be apart of it.''

An icon of Philadelphia's indie-rap scene, Maylay Sparks (fka Rahsheed) has been holding it down in Copenhagen, Denmark for over a decade and carving out his space as an international Hip-Hop giant. That much is evident on his fifth full-length album, The Rebel's Renaissance, his latest project that demonstrates both maturity and street wisdom.

The ten tracks on here combine for a cohesive, structured effort built on timeless instrumentals and a pen-game that has been consistently sharpened for more than 20 years. And Maylay makes his efforts clear on opener "Sleepless," a brassy banger produced by Slovenian trio Urban Click (who worked with the MC on the 2011 EP Truckdriver Fortuneteller). Their strong instrumental game can be heard elsewhere ("Another Bottle" and standout "Protocol" feat. Rasco & El Da Sensei) while Koolade, DJ Connect, Sakke, and Ruzbeatz round out the production lineup.

Whether going solo or spitting alongside guests, Maylay holds his own across TRR. You can thank his trademark gruff voice and no-nonsense cadence for that, both of which are two well-honed weapons in his arsenal. As for those guests, he uses them to his advantage throughout no matter their talents.

Lead single "Illadelph Elohim" is boosted by lyrical turns from Rucker Pawk and Last Emperor while DJ Devastate scratches across the hook; Chuck Rukkuz goes for the throat on the blunted "In The Green"; and "Changing Scenery" closes out the album on a high note. Maylay, of course, gets ample credit on the closer, as he kicks fiery and personal bars. But it's the inclusion of his entire Muddy Fatique crew that makes it truly special. Also, given his love for his new stomping grounds in Denmark, it's only fitting that he ends his Renaissance joined by his international teammates.

The Rebel's Renaissance is due out May 13 via Below System Records, a Hip-Hop label based out of Almelo, the Netherlands.

Oxnard emcee Kazi is back again with a double single titled ''Demons''. After working with artists like Madlib, Oh No, Peanut Butter Wolf and Lootpack, Kazi earned his reputation back in the days. His debut album ''The Plague'' came out in 2004 and following up with Madlib produced ''Blackmarket Seminar'' recorded in 1996 which was released in 2014. Kazi is now working on his 3rd official album. With this new single Kazi shows he has more music coming up this year.
