There is a Japanese term: Mono no aware. It means basically, the sad beauty of seeing time pass - the aching awareness of impermanence. These are the days that we will return to one day in the future only in memories. How do we capture them? How could we possibly be able to fully appreciate them in the present? This project is our attempt to put time under glass.

The Midnight is a marriage between a songwriter from the Deep South and a producer from Denmark who both live in Los Angeles. This is our love song to our city and a testament to the weight these years can hold.

Victoria Nadine is a voice and musician who represents and speaks on behalf of her generation. Her raw musical style and willingness to open her heart and lay everything out on the table has made this 23-year-old from Skien, Norway, one of the most influential young artists from Norway. 
Her 2020 breakthrough “Be Okay” went straight to the top of the charts. “Be Okay” was written in the aftermath of a heavily publicised breakup, during a period when Victoria Nadine found herself completely alone, without management or a record company to back her up. Having to do everything herself only made Victoria more determined – the song had to be released. “Be Okay” took Norway by storm: A year later, in 2021, Victoria was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Norwegian Grammy Awards. At the P3 Gold Awards that same year, she was up for both ‘Newcomer of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’.  
 In the years since, the young artist has moved to Oslo, adopted the stage name Victoria Nadine and have had six of her songs make into the Norwegian Top 50 charts – including “Nakna” (“Naked”), her duet with the Swedish musical artist and Young Royals actor Omar Rudberg. 
In the autumn of 2022, Victoria has devoted a great deal of time to songwriting and studio sessions in Los Angeles, Berlin, Stockholm and Oslo. In doing so, she has collaborated with renowned songwriters and producers.  
In November 2022 she released her latest single "Nerve", a single co-written by Skinny Days that went straight to #3 on the Norwegian Spotify charts and is creating waves on TikTok around the world.
