Highball Riot is a fast paced, hard hitting Reggae-Rock band from the Canadian West Coast and B.C.'s Central Interior. After forming in the fall of 2010, the guys have played countless shows around BC and have opened for bands such as Juno nominees The Midway State, 54/40, and Deep Purple. In 2012 they were nominated for Best Ensemble in the Arts & Culture Awards in their home town, Prince George. They recorded their 4 song EP titled Sunshine at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver,BC , which was later released in August of 2012. The EP contains many different things for fans and listeners, with smooth elements of rock mixed with reggae, it soon drifts to sing-along lyrics with hip-hop edge and a touch of punk-rock. The first rotation of HBR's single "Sunshine' was on the airwaves just one month after having been released. Being played in rotation at multiple radio stations, the title track has gained much acclaim across BC. But seeing them live is about seeing what it means to have fun and party; combining high energy with a great stage show in an interactive and entertaining style, Highball Riot is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Once upon a time, two sisters named Kelly and Kamille stumbled upon a secret musical garden that entwined classical grandeur and lush pop sensibilities. They brought back melodies inspired by soulful creators from Brahms to Bjork to The Beatles, and they called themselves KARMINA—"song" in Latin.
 
Since then, KARMINA's transcendent arrangements and haunting vocal harmonies have appeared in feature films/television shows including Reign, Pan, The Birth of a Nation, The Lorax, Pretty Little Liars, Shameless, The Hive, CSI:NY, Switched At Birth, and How I Met Your Mother. They've written, sung, produced and performed a vast catalogue of original music; toured the US, UK and Europe; and opened for Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, Carol King, Train and, most recently, John Legend at the Los Angeles Nokia Theater.
 
Karmina is fresh from the studio with a new record that features the orchestral arranging and production of award-winning film composer John Powell (Solo: A Star Wars Story, How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity). The resulting “cinematic pop” evokes the heart-pounding emotion of big-screen storytelling, the howling passion of Florence Welch, and the quiet heartbreak of Lana del Rey. Their new album, Queens of Heart, pays homage to powerful women who have elevated humanity and the humble warriors that follow in their footsteps.
