Hi Ben - thanks - I really enjoyed it....good thoughtful lyrics and an ace tune....reminded me a little of early Neil Young ( and that is a good thing!) ...well done

I wrote this track for mental health awareness week as a reflection on my own experiences.  Through this song I've met many great people and reconnected with some really good friends and also completed my own story hidden in the song.  

This newly remixed song has been re-recorded and produced by a talented new friend of mine in Ontario, Canada - Adam Kropf.   I have added a muted cornet part, and Adam has added a solo guitar and bass part and produced the final song.   Special thanks to Adam for his help and for the help and encouragement from Louise Wight-Boycott and my guitar teacher Chris Henson.

My musical influences are quite diverse.  I've played the cornet in brass bands since I was 7 and was brought up on worn out tapes played on repeat in our family car, where we all used to sing along in the back.  I also endured weekly music school on a Saturday morning, when I was younger, where I didn't have a clue which valves to push down (Nothing changes.. lol).   Country, Rock and Folk music mostly from the 60s, 70s and 80s always appealed to me.   The guitar came much later and until recently was an on and off endeavour, before I started taking lessons.  I play every day now and enjoy thinking up new lyrics for my next song.
