American violist, composer and producer Mike von Paul is paving his own path in the space between post-classical and electronic music, combining rich textures of acoustic, analog and digital sound with pounding beats and crisp vocals.

Since January 2023, Michael has been an assistant to film composer Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL), working as a technical score engineer on Netflix's "Rebel Moon", directed by Zack Snyder, and Warner Bros prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road - "Furiosa," directed by George Miller. Michael studied at the Eastman School of Music where he co-founded the Empire Film and Media Ensemble, and interned at composer Hans Zimmer's RCP. All of his recordings feature a variety of live musicians.
