Jesse Henry and Angela Perley teamed up in 2013 after a "Dudes, Dudettes, & Duets Happy Hour" at Rumba Cafe in Columbus brought them together to prepare and perform duet songs. Both artists are well know for their Columbus based bands (Jesse Henry of the Spikedrivers, Strutterfly, Royal Tycoons, Field Dogs etc. and Angela Perley of Angela Perley & The Howlin' Moons). Quickly they discovered that they had many songs that fit together so the duo decided to capture their collaboration on record. 

April 4th of 2014 the duo released their debut self-titled record that oozes with raw-acoustic songs that reflect influences like John Prine, Iris Dement, and Kris Kristofferson (The last song on the record is a cover of Kris Kristofferson's "Time to Be Tender"). The record rolls and dips like a drive alone out to the country where every harmony and breath is a like a prayer to a lost love or a vivid memory left behind.
