BVP ROCKS!

This was the product of my 6-10-18 #CreativeSunday live stream session. I started with a couple chords and a simple idea to make a pop rock type ballad. Easing into the piece with a simple piano ostinato and some big drums, they eventually unfold into a big splendid chorus with some lingering high notes. Top off the verses with some guitar chugs and a cool guitar ostinato pattern to give some forward motion. This song is super fun to listen to and makes me want more! Stay tuned for updates to this one. I may have to finish it in the near future!

BVP 94 Teaser

Looking to get some ambient and deep tones for this rockin' ballad, I used some highly effected ambient reverb on an piano track, and some clean baritone guitar. This kept things warm and lush until the distortion crept its way in and hits open and hard on the chorus for some solid energy.

BVP 111 Teaser

This track has quickly become one of my favorites. Outlining the chord progression, some bell synths and a light pad start this track off. The light rhythmic delay on the notes gets amplified once the pace begins to pick up. As soon as the synths deliver their final descending progression, the rest of the instruments come screaming into existence. Electric Guitar, bass, drums hit hard into an awesome riff before diving even deeper into a rhythmic halftime section. I can't help but want more! \m/

This is a fun driving track that features some seriously fun rhythmic lead lines in the verse section. Complementing that is some a big tag section as well as a chorus with another cool melody woven in. Seriously fun!

BVP 125 Teaser

This is a track I am super proud of. The #CreativeSunday this was written during was exceptional. All the pieces came together exactly how I wanted them to. The track starts with a very relaxing broken chord section on clean guitar topped with a luscious piano lead and synth pad. Right before the chorus hits, the instruments build and cut as they dive into the heavy section. The heavy section hits hard and drives forward with cool rhythms, tasty lead lines, and a cool synth melody (taking the place of vocals). Every section transitions with a tight break perfectly navigating the dynamic shifts.

A hard hitting riff starts this one off. Then a bass and drum groove steps in on the verse section accompanied by two guitar parts on the second half to elevate the sound. A suspense building prechorus then readies you for the slamming and driving chorus section before diving back into that initial heavy riff!

I am a composer/songwriter. I have played piano since the age of 5. I also play drums and percussion as well as electric/acoustic guitar. I love to compose all genres of music.
