After being a staple curator in Melbourne’s community radio scene, Adriana’s Tuesday 7-8 slot, Opalakia, was a fertile space for sharing flavours of dance-inflected world music to an eager band of fans, subscribers and listeners. 

Since leaving PBS, Adriana has launched Spasta, her instant classic party which has rapidly garnered a cult audience for its unpretentious, rhapsodic moments in the dancefloor. Spasta, which means ‘to break’ has smashed plates, thrown flowers at live Bouziki players, hosted traditional Pontian dancers and cracked eggs, with traditional Greek food and a daring programme of Australia’s, and the globe’s best record collectors and selectors. It’s a party made for the heads, with all your notions left at the doormat.


In the booth, Adriana is bound by nothing, coasting between traditional and contemporary sounds her sets are a sonic jaunt, touching down on all four corners of the globe on a rollercoaster that excites as much as it surprises. With unstoppable energy that radiates in any room, Adriana’s passion for the eclectic makes her one of the city’s finest and most down to Earth diggers. Expect a riot of genres, enthusiasm and curiosity, all delivered with smiles and an opa!

Turkish-born, Naarm-based - MINICOOP 
Thrives off the strong connection that happens when people and music come together. Her sets are crafted in a way to create the “unexpected” energetic, mind-wandering experience - all while maintaining a flowing, story-driven journey. 

Her love for all kinds of Electronic music is rooted deeply, which sparked as early as 12 months old, bouncing in a jolly jumper to The Chemical Brothers’ “Hey Boy, Hey Girl.” That early imprint set the tone for a lifelong admiration to rhythm, energy, and the immersive world of Electronic sounds. 

MINICOOP started her DJ journey in 2020 and has enjoyed exploring and playing all kinds of House, Techno and Minimal music. She really embraces the versatility that comes across those genres. Having been spent the last year learning to produce and making a name for herself in the Melbourne/Naarm DJ community. Her unique sound was driven not by self-discovery but by a genuine appreciation for the richness and variety of those genres of music. 

Fast forward to now, it has lead to the curiosity and passion of progressive, psychedelic and minimal Techno. Her sets bleed funky grooves, hypnotic loops and intriguing textures, with each element sparking emotion and really makes the mind tingle.

Italian producer Neel is a meticulous producer who has earned a fine reputation for his smooth, supple and hypnotic techno output. It has come so far - both in solo form and as Voices from the Lake with Donato Dozzy - on labels like Prologue, whilst a new EP is due later this year, as is a much anticipated debut full length, Phobos, on the Spectrum Spools label. When it comes to club and festival performances, Neel is both an experienced DJ who can plot real sonic stories, but so too does he play live with Dozzy as Voices from the Lake, and more recently he has started performing cerebral AV shows with abstract visuals accompanying his heady soundscapes.
