strange birds are a blues and jazz two-piece playing around the North East of England. Influenced by Tom Waits, Albert King, Janis Joplin, Howlin' Wolf, Ella Fitzgerald and Laura Nyro to name a few, strange birds incorporate 'dirty blues' and silky jazz to create an eclectic sound of something both authentic and new.
