A legendary DJ with his fingers firmly on the pulse since the 1980s, Fabio, along with DJ partner Grooverider, has been at the forefront of dance music since the emergence of acid house and an essential force in the transition from rave music into hardcore and eventually drum & bass.

 

From the infamous Rage parties to the Speed era, the Swerve nights at The End, Fabio deserves his title as drum & bass' godfather, already considered an essential tastemaker by the 90s, before going on to pioneer the 'liquid funk' sound. His label Creative Source released over 50 12” singles and 4 albums, and was the label that introduced Calibre among many other now seminal artists to our scene.

 

An ambassador for the genre since the start which included his 14 year show on BBC Radio 1 alongside Grooverider. Fabio remains an important figurehead and a festival regular, with highly revered DJ sets across genres, playing just as comfortably alongside Gilles Peterson & Artwork as he does with Goldie & LTJ Bukem.

Suntrap, a DJ duo of Marc and Eoghan, have been playing together for over 10 years. Those years have been a journey of musical discovery and sharing as their styles have evolved and developed.

At the core Suntrap are about researching and identifying new and old global styles, concentrating on countries and time periods and digging for new gems. It is this sharing of music from all corners of the globe that Suntrap love. Suntrap's DJ sets are characterised by colour and texture, focussing on melody and percussive elements - gathering momentum with smiles and dancing.

Firing up the bassbins and hitting you hard with a dose of raggamuffin junglist energy is what Ed Solo is all about. From Glastonbury to Canada's Shambhala, from dirty Brixton back rooms to Spanish arenas, Ed has travelled the globe throwing down his unique brand of ruffneck bassline bravado for more than a decade. 

Ed's knack for the rudest of hooks is equalled only by his sublime studio skills. He cut his teeth in the mid '90s engineering at the notorious SOUR Records studios, going on to lay down a series of groundbreaking collaborations with jungle kingpin DJ Brockie. In 2007 Ed released ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ alongside Skool of Thought, featuring ‘When I Was A Yout’ and ‘We Play The Music’ among others. A 10th anniversary remix package drops in 2017.

Ed’s partnership with Jungle Cakes partner in crime Deekline has thrown up some of the most memorable tunes of the decade. The pair recently mixed the chart-topping 5th edition of their Welcome to the Jungle series.
