Recorded by Michael Hayes and the Badstreet Band in 1984, "Badstreet USA" changed the way Pro Wrestling was presented forever. The song, worked up as the theme music for the Fabulous Freebirds, was co-written by Jimmy Papa and Hayes, with the video shot in Dallas, Texas. The full story of how the song was recorded, and how the "rock and wrestling connection" originated, can be seen in the upcoming documentary BACK ON BADSTREET, coming in late 2014.
