For the last 17 years, Eric (DJ Excel) has established a reputation as a quality DJ in Florida and more recently a Progressive and Electro House Producer (aka Jack Mono). Eric has worked with DJ's all over Florida most notably in the Clearwater, Tampa, Orlando & Jacksonville areas and has opened for DJ's such Sandra Collins, Voyager, Eros (@ Barbarella's Orlando), DJ Keoki, DJ Santana, DJ Monk(@ Firestone in Orlando), DJ Kinesis (@ Evolutions & Blue Room in Jacksonville), B-Nice, C4 & (Ohm in Tampa) but his favorite venues were those underground in the Tampa scene back in the mid to late 90's. 
 
Eric was born & raised in Clearwater, FL discovered electronic music in the early '90's and was DJing by '95 in clubs he would normally be turned away at because of his age (16). A couple of years later, he discovered the underground rave scene in Tampa (Hammerjack's, Parthenon & The infamous Fantasy Ranch. as DJ excel he played at clubs from Clearwater, St Pete to Tampa. He then moved to Orlando, in '99and attended Fullsail. There, he started producing his own remixes and reworks using Pro Tools, Reason and later Ableton to create unique reworks of tracks and was known for his ability to play his own unique versions of popular Breaks and House utilizing vinyl, samplers, CDJ's and Serato. Now, he lives in Cocoa, FL and focusing mainly on production. Influences early in the scene were his own friends DJ Lil Andy, DJ Luis, Andy Hughes, Eros, Chris Marchese, John Debo and local DJ's Insta Karma, Huda Hudia, Brad Smith, DJ Monk, Icey, Sandy, Cliff T, Kimball Collins, Chris Hand and national DJ's like Chus & Ceballos, Danny Tanaglia, DJ Vibe, Frankie Bones, Micro and later his production was inspired by more world renown artists such as BT, Hybrid, Friction & Spice, Crystal Method, Junkie XL, Dirtyloud, Spencer & Hill and a plethora of other Dj's, Remixers and Artists.

Este talento 100% nacional tuvo su motivación por la música 
desde la infancia. 
Siempre en contacto con la música, se sumerge a investigar y se detiene a conocer los sonidos y el ritmo de tal genero “Techno House” , siempre dando preferencia a sonidos divertidos, coquetos y frescos. Experimentando al mismo tiempo diferentes tipos de música. 

Poco a poco a buscado mejorar e incrementar su experiencia, cuidando la selección de cada track en sus Set`s. El objetivo de cada set es dar a conocer su estilo y un régimen distinto. Trabajando por computadoras y olvidándose de los vinilos por completo podríamos decir que este colega siempre a predominado en sus actuaciones 

Gracias a su exigente gusto por la música, lo lleva a producir su música, música inteligente cambiando el objetivo a algo totalmente diferente.
