I wrote this song a few years back, dedicated to the life of Chris Page, a jazz pianist I once had the enormous pleasure of knowing; always entertaining the bars with his small group of regular musicians - lyrics written as I imagined viewed through the eyes of his children when he died, far too young. I have recreated it here, very interested to see how the AI modelling would handle the falsetto in the choruses. I’m still amazed at how truly Freddie-esque these songs sound, even when sung in a style not akin to the original mercurial legend that was The Fred.
