Le morceau "Créatures magnétiques" est la suite du voyage synesthésique entrepris par Lendemains Versinthés dans cette période de confinement. Le mauve associé à la fugue rimbaldienne laisse place à une ambiance hallucinée teintée de rouge, surréaliste et envoûtante.

Le morceau "Outremer" est la suite du voyage synesthésique entrepris par Lendemains Versinthés. Les tonalités jaunes et oranges, libertaires et régénérantes, laissent place à la couleur bleue, qui inspire rêves et sérénité. Outremer est un clin d’œil à l’autrice Colette.

Le morceau "L’heure verte" est la suite du voyage synesthésique entrepris par Lendemains Versinthés. La couleur bleue, qui inspire rêves et sérénité, laisse place aux tonalités vertes ambiguës, qui évoquent tantôt la renaissance, la nature ou la sorcellerie, tantôt le désordre et la déroute. L’heure verte est un clin d’œil à l’écrivain et voyageur suisse Nicolas Bouvier.

My friends with the "Muse and Method" creative challenge have issued another prompt. This time the topic is "March".

This track was built with two samples from my personal collection of field recordings. The 4-beat rhythm loop is the percussion section of the Shawnee Mission North High School marching band, recorded at the Overland Park Fall Festival in 2011. The horn sound is an air horn on an antique steam tractor, recorded at the Northwest Michigan Engine and Thresher Show, Buckley, Michigan way back in 1989 and played back through a keyboard sampler.

rosE mE is the project of Sophie Mercier, Belgian woman of the X generation (1974). Living in Spain (Altea) since 2005. All the lyrics are… obviously or not, inspired by real life events. If I sing that there is a horse in the living room, this is because there is a horse in the living room. “Belgian accent” songs, melancholic with a touch of hope, made for you if you’re not obsessed with performance or technicity and are able to recognize humour of fourth degree and self-derision. Since 2021, I discovered the world of virtual instruments and I started to do all by myself with the Studio One DAW and the Komplete Kontrol. Sometimes, I play real instruments like Chelo, sax, clarinet and whatever I find in my littlemountain home studio. May be it’s music to listen to, unprejudiced, driving a camper, a truck or lying in the sofa, in full consciousness (would be the best), interested in giving a second chance to words and sounds. Seeing Jean-Luc Godart's Adieu au Langage (Ah Dieux, Oh Langage) on Filmin recently, I smiled and thought: poorly edited, horrible soundtrack, the truth of which is incomprehensible to the common human being (except what is said about dogs), a bit like my songs!!!
