I was lucky enough to be able to play an absolute beast of a set on the last day of Esoteric Festival 2022! - the sky threw down some epic lightning bolts a couple of tracks into my set, so we had to let nature run its course, as soon as we were given the all clear, I got right back into it and welcomed everyone back to the dancefloor, wild vibes soon followed and I played B2B with the legend, Scott Alert, all the way to festival close.

I played this set 2 weeks before the big dance in preparation and anticipation for a solid performance on stage, hope you enjoy the set, it may have been similar to what I was going to play if i went solo, much love legends, what an awesome weekend!

Esoteric Festival 2022 | Ben Evans & Sykonix | Sun Temple Closing Set

Hi Legends! Thank you for joining me last weekend at the Esoteric Festival Wild Wastelands Launch Party at The Industrique Warehouse out in the 'berg, It was so amazing to catch up with friends and meet so many new humans, big love and hugs to you all. Big thanks for the chance to play for you all, thank you to the Eso team for making this happen!! 

I played fairly early this time which was so fun, and gave me the rest of the night to enjoy completely, leading on from the legendary power duo, Boydex and Junior Boom, who smashed out a gnarly set of thier own tracks, full booty shakin' breaks & dnb, setting the stage perfectly for my set. I used this opportunity to play a full set of incredible deep psychedelic bush prog from the wonderful wizards behind Universal Tribe Records, highly recommend heading over to their bandcamp/soundcloud and other platforms to support this wonderful soundscape. I was hooked and knew it was the right fit for this event. Set list as below, thank you so much for dancing and enjoying the tunes. Cant wait to see you at the Esoteric Festival next March for a massive celebration together. xxx
