Rainer Trüby, ex-member of A Forest Mighty Black and today's master of rare vinyl and wine, is still busy with DJing around the globe (few airports have not seen his metal record box--vinyl, yes!) spreading his musical vision of "good music" delivering in between the different facets of house and electronic music and mixing it up with his beloved roots. Known as part of the Trüby Trio and selector for compilations such as Glücklich or Talkin Jazz, and later Maiden Voyage (Compost) and Beats & Oexle (Sonarkollektiv) you wouldn't challenge his musical taste at all. We're honoured to have him for this fantastic warm-up set at Peti Kupe for another Freilauf session.

Here's a 5+ hour set from a beautiful night in Vancouver with the Soul Hop crew.  The soundsystem at Vantek was singing, the crowd were getting down and it was one of those nights where 5 hours felt like 1 hour.  Big love to James and Soren and looking forward to doing it all again with Ladymonix on 31st May at Industrial 236.

Tribal Digs - is an ep filled with tribal and afro adventure. sounds that were other known bigger than the hot body records sound. normally we release a state of the underground but this high fueled pace release stretches a big mainstream (yet still underground) sound. after big beatport labels try to utilize sampling or congas in a way of a standpoint. hot body records on this release is trying to be only cool for what they can with a stellar tribal or other known percussive house release. Other Mamba is the release embrace of tribal sampling with spanish taste of latin house crave. London-based DJ, producer, label owner and promoter Ben Gomori has a long and varied career in dance music, stretching from illegal raves in fields in his birthplace Cambridge through residencies at some of London’s most legendary clubs to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the world. He plays an inimitable mix of house, disco, Balearic, electro, afro, acid, garage and techno, tirelessly digging for lesser known gems that he unearths for his RecordReplay bargain bin vinyl radio shows and seamlessly fitting them alongside the sounds of today, sprinkled with his own acclaimed edits and productions and a high-energy mixing style. 

Co-founder of the eclectic Balearic London parties and vinyl edits label, he’s also the founder of the acclaimed Monologues Records, G-Edits and Sterns Edits imprints and has played regularly at Berlin’s hallowed Sisyphos since 2019, and across the world from Womb in Tokyo to fabric in London. He also runs Pitchblack Playback—a global series of album and DJ mixtape listening sessions in the dark, of which Rick Rubin said “this sounds great” and Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay said was “a fabulous idea”.
