Drawing inspiration from traveling, one of Scorpios residents Malin Linnea @malin-linnea has shaped her organic sound that’s reminiscent of both the East and the West. With a hypnotising mix of Latin rhythms, Afro house and warm synths leads, Malin's sets always leave a mark.

Personally, I am never sad to see the back of January because it means that (here in the Northern Hemisphere) the days start to get longer. Sunrise gets earlier, Sunsets later and all of this means that we are marching towards Spring and Summer. My favourite time of the year. The days of hanging on to memories of past summers are closing and we begin to look forward to what the coming months will bring. SUN, that’s all we need right? Well and Music of course. 
It’s no coincidence then that Beach Club 24 brings you a selection from the past and the future. More and more these days, it seems that the great dance tracks of our current times often use the masters of old as a bedrock for compelling grooves. This track stack plays homage to that theory quite exquisitely (even if I do say so myself) and as you glide your way through this selection of glorious beats you may find yourself reminiscing about times and grooves gone by. There’s always a journey to be had and enjoyed here; that’s what music is meant to do to us after all!
Furthermore, it is always the greatest honour to to be your tour-guide on these audio adventures that we share.

Hi and welcome, you've found me!
If you're reading this then the chances are we share a common love for 'House' music and the various guises and forms that it takes.
So who am I? My name is Jay and I am also known for being the Downtempo music writer/producer 'Coolmadina' (you'll find my other page on here too) 
So the Benirràs Beach Club is my new project and it has 2 elements, firstly the mixes you are listening to on here and secondly the live show. If you catch one of the live shows you will see me woking (as a DJ and percussionist) on stage with my dear friend of many years Mike Blatchford who is also a percussionist AND a fantastic Saxophonist. In the live shows, we will be playing tracks from the Benirrás mixes but spicing up the Ibiza vibe with the Sax and Percussion elements. If any of you have any knowledge of Ibiza, you will likely know about the Benirràs Beach and its spiritual connection to drums and rhythm. I have been a drummer since my childhood. Mike is a practicing Yoga instructor of many years and our joint passion for rhythms of the world and music that just grooves was the catalyst for this project. As a result it felt completely natural and right to have Ibiza and Benirràs as the inspiration behind it. 
I hope you enjoy the mixes on here and I REALLY hope we get to see some of you at the live shows as we work our way around the South of England and beyond!
