Released under the label Beyond & Before Music, this song captures the oppressive atmosphere and raw violence of a grenade attack experienced by the Feyerabend family in the Spring of 1945 while fleeing East Prussia. The scene unfolds on the Curonian Spit near the Frisches Haff, not far from Kaltenherberge.

I rewrote the lyrics in 2015 and recorded this version in 2019 with Josh Elliott on guitar and production.
